How To Fix The Huawei Nova 4 Won’t Turn On Issue
One major issue that you don’t want to occur on your mobile device is when it does not turn on. This can be a frustrating experience especially if you have important files stored in the phone. Charge the phone
The first thing you will need to do in this case is to make sure that the phone battery is fully charged by following the steps listed below.
- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed.
- Fully charge the phone using its wall charger.
- In case the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port in case charging using the wall charger fails to work.

Perform a soft reset
Try to refresh the phone software to eliminate the corrupted temporary data from the phone. This is usually done on an unresponsive device however it should also work in this case as it will refresh the phone software. You can do this by simply restarting the device.
- Press and hold the Power and Volume down key for up to 45 seconds.
- Wait as the device restarts.

Start the phone in Safe Mode
There are cases when an app you downloaded from the Google Play Store will cause issues on the phone when it is installed. To check if an app you downloaded is causing the problem you will have to start the phone in Safe Mode as only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run in this mode.
- Power off the phone by holding down the power button for a few seconds.

Wipe the cache partition of the phone
There are cases when the cached data stored in the dedicated partition of the phone can become corrupted. When this happens this will usually cause certain issues to occur on the phone. To eliminate the possibility that this is what’s causing the problem you will have to wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
- Turn off your phone.
- Press and hold the Volume UP button along with Power button on your device simultaneously for a few seconds
- The phone will enter the stock recovery mode
- Use volume buttons to highlight ‘wipe cache partition’ and use power key to select it
- Reboot the system once the process is completed

Perform a factory reset

- Turn off your phone.
