Verify wifi network speed is normal

So, your first task is to check if there’s a problem with the wifi network itself. Using another wireless device, check the speed of your wifi by running a speed test. If you have another phone, just install any speed test app or open any speed test site and verify the connection speed. If wifi connection speed is slow on all devices, that means there’s no problem with your LG G7 ThinQ. In this situation, you must troubleshoot your router or your wifi network. If you don’t know how to do that, get support from your Internet Service Provider. However, if wifi connection speed is okay on other devices but is slow in your LG G7 ThinQ, then you need to continue the troubleshooting steps below.

Restart your LG G7 ThinQ

2. Press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button until the System recovery screen displays then release both buttons.
3. Select Safe mode. You can use the Volume buttons to highlight the option and the Power button to select.
4. The device starts up with ‘Safe mode’ displayed in the lower-left.  This may take up to 1 minute to complete.
5. Check your wifi connection speed.
