How to add emergency lock screen information on Galaxy S7 Edge | setting up emergency info on lock screen and AOD

Samsung has made it safer for you if you’re a Galaxy S7 Edge user. On your device, you can actually set display contact information for the police, rescuers, or others to help you in case of an emergency. The information can be displayed on your phone’s screen even if its screen is locked.

How to add emergency lock screen information on Galaxy S7 Edge

Follow the steps below to display the emergency information on your lock screen or AOD.

  1. Open Settings app.
  2. Tap Lock screen and security.
  3. Tap Clock and FaceWidgets.
  4. Tap Contact information.
  5. Enter Contact information or your emergency number. These information will be displayed on the lockscreen.
  6. Choose whether you want to display the information on lock screen or AOD (Always On Display) or both.
  7. Tap Done to finish.
