Honor 9X smartphone will debut at online retailers later this month

Huawei’s subsidiary, Honor, is planning to debut the Honor 9X smartphone later this month. Not only does it look great, but it’s exciting for the tech crowd, because this will be Huawei’s first phone using the 7nm Kirin 810 processor.

The Kirin 810 is a fairly new processor, only launching last month. That said, the only device sporting it right now is Huawei’s Nova 5.

This new processor isn’t necessarily a high-end CPU; after all, the Kirin 980 can run laps around it. However, it is a symbol of innovation, based on that 7nm processor. And it performs really well, too.

We’re expected to get an official announcement on July 23 at an event in China, where Honor will likely announce the Honor 9X Pro alongside the standard Honor 9X.
