5 Best Game Controllers For Galaxy Note 10

One of the cool things about the Galaxy Note 10 is just how large the screen is. It has a 6.3-inch display, and with the bezel-less panel, this makes it the perfect device for gaming. However, even though you get the big screen and the faster hardware, gaming can still be difficult, because of the on-screen controls.

On-screen digital controls are just difficult to manage, especially when you need precise movements for first-person shooters or strategy games. Luckily, there’s an easy way to solve that — and that’s with Bluetooth game controllers for the Galaxy Note 10.

Not sure what the best choices are? Let’s dive right in.

SteelSeries Stratus XL

Our number one favorite comes from SteelSeries — the Stratus XL. SteelSeries is a popular peripheral and accessory make and has tons of expertise in game controllers. That said, this one is easily the nicest and best controller you’ll find on the market for the Galaxy Note 10. If you’re doing some serious mobile gaming, this one will bring you the control and range of movement you need.

We love this one because it’s a full-size controller — ergonomics here are great, and it’s super comfortable. They designed the SteelSeries Stratus XL for more than just the Galaxy Note 10, but for other phones and gaming consoles at home, too.

Even for the mobile environment, the Stratus XL features customization profiles, allowing you to easily set up different sensitivities for your triggers and joysticks.

8BitDo Zero

Banking on being a blast from the past, you can’t go wrong with the 8BitDo Zero. 8BitDo creates controllers that are more nostalgic and old-style nature. With the Zero, in particular, you get that old Nintendo console style. This one is essentially a replica of an older Nintendo-style controller, providing you with a direction pad and just a few buttons to use.

What we like about this controller is the battery life you get off of a single charge. A single charge will get you a whole twenty hours of juice. We’re talking about twenty hours of straight gaming before it needs a charge again. Since this one is a small controller, and there are only a couple buttons, this one has room for a larger battery inside.

Beboncool Mobile Game Controller

Next up, we’re looking at Beboncool’s Mobile Game Controller. This one has a little more of a unique design, one that’s great for ergonomics, comfort, and stability. This controller almost resembles the Nintendo Switch controller, which really makes this one unique.

Just like any other Bluetooth controller, you can connect up to your phone over Bluetooth to play right away. This is excellent for on-the-go use, allowing you to set your Galaxy Note 10 in the cradle. You’ll be able to comfortably play your favorite Android games for hours on end with this ergonomic support; however, the battery only lasts about 1.5 hours on a single charge.

Satechi Bluetooth Wireless Gamepad

Satechi has made a great name for itself in Bluetooth game controllers. This is a nice cross between a mini controller and a full-size console controller. It isn’t full-size, but the ergonomics here are still really good.

This one is great for ergonomics, mostly because it has a cradle where you can set your Galaxy Note 10. The weight is distributed evenly, so you could game for hours if you wanted. The phone holder is spring assisted, so you don’t have to worry about your Galaxy Note 10 slipping out.

Design-wise, the Satechi controller is sleek and fairly modern; however, the button layout resembles an Xbox controller. So, it in some respects, the controller may come across as familiar.

Our favorite feature here is the Power Save mode that Satechi has packed inside — you can turn it on, and you can get a few more hours of juice out of your controller. This allows you to get out of a stressful part of your game and save in time to put it on the charger.

8BitDo M30

Coming up last on our countdown, we’re looking at another from 8BitDo, the M30. This one is significantly larger than the Zero, and it comes with a different style looking more like a Sega Genesis controller.

What we like here is that the 8BitDo M30 works with multiple platforms — not just Android, but the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and MacOS. It has a fantastic battery life, and it’s also rechargeable.

Verdict

There are a lot of game controllers that you can pick up for the Galaxy Note 10. However, our favorite is the SteelSeries Stratus XL, mostly because it resembles a full-size controller. This makes it one of our favorite choices because it makes the gaming experience a lot more comfortable. Not only that, but it gives you slightly better control over movements and actions.
