Below are the information that we’ve collected so far after Samsung has officially unpacked the new Galaxy Note10 a few hours ago.
Galaxy Note10 review: Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Note10 features some of the most advanced hardware specifications for smartphones today. If you want to get an overview of this amazing device, check out the information below.

Screen: 6.3″ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED, 1080 x 2280px resolution; 19:9 aspect ratio; 401ppi; HDR10+ certified.

Galaxy Note10 review: Design
The overall design of the Galaxy Note10 does not differ much from its Galaxy S10 sibling with excellent feel, form and gesture all combined. Like it’s predecessor, the Note9, this latest Note model is gorgeous and looks expensive. It’s ultra-thin body at 7.9 mm can set a new standard for smartphone design. Despite its huge screen size and bigger battery, the Note10 also feels lightweight enough. Together, all the best things in smartphone design today seems to manifest in the Galaxy Note model. If you are after a smaller Note model, we highly recommend that you pick the Note10 instead of the Note10+.
If you are after the external look of your phone, the Note 10 models offer at least 4 color ranges to choose from (the Note10 has 5). If you are after a Note10, these are the color choices for you:

Having great hardware specifications is only one part of making an amazing phone. The Galaxy Note10 screen continues the beautiful line of super colorful AMOLED displays Samsung S and Note models. With its 6.3″ screen, it’s just slightly smaller than the Galaxy S10+ screen but a little bigger than that of the S10. and like the S10 line, the Note10 features the Ultrasonic Fingerprint scanner embedded on the screen itself.
The selfie camera, marketed as Infinity-O Display, is now positioned in the middle-top portion to reduce interruptions.
Galaxy Note10 review: Performance
If you are a heavy phone user, you’ll be pleased to know that the Galaxy Note10 is now more powerful than any Samsung phone out there. Its super fast charging feature boasts to be able to charge the device for 30 minutes, for a day’s usage! This may not be true at all depending on your usage habits but at least a 30-minute charge session is not that bad. A typical Samsung Galaxy Note10 also sports a huge 3500mAh (after sacrificing the 3.5mm audio jack), making it the largest battery yet for the Note line. Couple this large battery with excellent software that automatically adjusts power consumption can potentially give you what Samsung promises — that your phone can last a whole day.
Like the Galaxy S10, the new Note10 will also have the Wireless PowerShare feature. Simply enable Wireless PowerShare and put your compatible wireless earpiece like the Galaxy Buds or device on the back and allow your Note10 to charge it.
If you are after huge storage, then the Note10 won’t disappoint. The basic Note10 now offers 258GB of internal storage although you can also get a version with up to 512GB. You also have the option to add up to 1TB using a microSD card.
Some regions may also offer Note10 versions with DUAL SIM card capability. If you’re not planning on using additional storage space, ditch the SD card and place a second SIM card to the slot to allow you to use 2 connections anytime.
When it comes to performance, RAM is critical. Memory-wise, the Note10 has 12GB, which is actually just a lot even for mobile gaming. Your new Galaxy Note10 is blazing fast, thanks to its 7nm CPU making launching apps really quick, even when multitasking. Your Note10 is designed with gaming needs in mind. Its sleeker, slimmer design, lightweight, and ergonomic design on top of under-the-hood excellent performance should provide an unparalleled gaming experience.
If you’re planning on using your Note10 for work, you’ll be pleased to know that you can now work between it and you computer easily, thanks to Samsung DeX or Samsung Desktop experience. You can easily drag and drop files between devices or make quick edits on your computer without missing a beat. You should also be able connect your Note10 to your PC via USB and continue working.
If you’re more on the audio aspect of the device, the Note10 has speakers and Type-C earphones designed by Dolby Atmos to give you rich, clear, 3D sound experience.
Just like any premium phone today, the Note10 and its S Pen has IP68 rating, which means that both can resist water in certain circumstances. You can safely continue using them even when its raining.
Galaxy Note10 review: S Pen
Speaking of the S Pen, Samsung claims that it’s been redesigned to add more functionalities. The new S Pen now uses Bluetooth to allow you to click, navigate a presentation, play and pause videos, or snap a photo easily.
Air actions also is now more intelligent by interpreting your actions and movements to control your phone with simple gestures. With a simple clockwise or counterclockwise movement, you should also be able to change the angle of the camera while shooting.
While browsing the Gallery app, you can simply flick left or right to move to the next photo or go back to the previous one.
When listening to music or audio file, turn up the sound by gesturing up or decrease volume by gesturing down. This is really call as it eliminates the need to touch the volume button.
The classic function of the S Pen is allowing a user to instantly turns ideas into written form. Simply tap the screen with S Pen and jot down your ideas. Redesigned to be customized, Samsung Notes lets you adjust your S Pen settings like ink color and thickness, and save your favorites.
Galaxy Note10 review: Camera
A lot of people looks for Galaxy Note10 camera review. Well, this new flagship will definitely not disappoint. The Note10 has 4 cameras: 3 at the back and one in front. Taking photos with your Note10 is still epic but a more exciting feature the new camera brings is with its video effects.
Speaking of video, you can now take movie-like video bokeh to capture your precious moments. You should also be able to control the sound around you as you zoom in or out, giving you the power to capture the sound that matters.
Action-packed moments can now also be captured with your Note10’s more steady video capture system by predicting movement from a library of over a million frames, reducing vibrations in your videos.
A full editing software is also now available which can make editing videos a breeze. Most of these editing options are also integrated with the S Pen so enhancing your photos and videos is now super easy.
The Galaxy Note10 has a wide 123° field of vision with the 16MP Ultra Wide Camera. If you want to get closer and personal, you can crop in with the 12MP Wide-angle Camera or the 2x optical zoom on the 12MP Telephoto Camera. Night shots will no longer be a problem with the F1.5 mode for Wide-angle camera. With the phone’s Night Mode feature, low light moments are brightened even more.
The selfie camera is, of course, a wonder by itself. The front camera now gives you a more portrait-like photos with its 10MP hardware. It’s also been designed to tackle low-light shots for better output.
Galaxy Note10 review: Release Date and Price
As of this writing, the Galaxy Note10 line has just been announced so there’s no definitive release date yet. However, Samsung has indicated that the earliest date the units may become available is August 23, 2019. Galaxy Note 10 starts from $945. We’ll update this post as more information becomes availale.
