What to do when your Anker Soundcore Motion Boom does not turn on
One issue that you might encounter with your Motion Boom Bluetooth speaker is when it doesn’t turn on. This can be an annoying issue especially if you need to use it. Here are the troubleshooting steps you need to do to fix the problem.
Solution 1: Charge the speaker
There’s a possibility that this issue is caused by a drained battery speaker. If this is the culprit then all you need to do to fix this is to charge the speaker.
Time needed: 4 hours.
Charging the battery of the speaker
- Open the rubber flap to access the charging port.
This can be found at the back of the speaker.
- Connect the USB-C charger to the speaker then plug the wall charger to a power outlet.
This will start the charging process.
Charge this speaker for at least 4 hours then try checking if you can turn it on.
Solution 2: Perform a factory reset on the Motion Boom
There’s a possibility that the problem is caused by a firmware glitch. In order to fix this you just have to reset the speaker by holding the Bluetooth and Volume + buttons down at the same time for 5-10 seconds or until the speaker restarts.
