- Go to Apps
- Tap Settings
- Tap Applications
- Tap Applications Manager
- Navigate to ALL tab
- Once inside the ALL tab, start your search of Messaging app
- Tap the Messaging app
- Tap Clear cache
- Tap Clear data
- Go back to the main screen

Step 1: Run the phone in Safe Mode

Problem: “Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped” error message appear whenever I try to choose contacts from my list. However, when I just key in the number manually, the message goes through minus this error. I’m not sure what happened but I think there was an update prior to this problem. How can i fix this?
