Easy steps to download new fonts and change the font size and style on Galaxy S20
The steps I mapped out below will walk you through downloading a new font to use on your new Galaxy S20 handset. For easier screen navigation, I’ve also provided a corresponding visual representation in the form of screenshots depicting individual procedures. Here’s how it works.
To get started, open the Settings app.
You can access the Settings app by launching the Apps preview. To do so, swipe up from the bottom of the Home screen then find the Settings icon.
From the Settings menu, scroll down and tap Display.
A new screen for display settings will be displayed next.
Tap Font size and style.
Doing so will open a new screen where you can find font options to configure.
Tap Font style to change the Default font style.
A list of available fonts will be displayed including SamsungOne and Gothic Bold.
You can also download other font styles, if none of the given options suits your desire.
To download new fonts, tap Download fonts from the Font style menu.
A new screen highlighting legal information will show up next.
Read and review the terms and conditions then tap to mark the radio button before the “I have read and agree to all of the above” statement. Then tap Agree to proceed.
New fonts for your Galaxy S20 will then be displayed.
Just tap your desired font style then tap the Download icon next to it.
You can select any from the Top fonts, Top paid, Top free and New fonts.
To proceed with the new font download, you will be asked to sign in to your Samsung account or Continue with your Google account. Just choose which account you’d like to use and then follow the rest of the onscreen prompts to proceed.
Don’t forget to specify your preferred keyboard when prompted to select keyboard.
Tap the Apply button to implement the new font.
After downloading the font, tap the Back key until you get back to the Font size and style menu.
This is where you will see other font options such as Bold font and Font size.
Scroll down to the Font size section then drag the slider to adjust the font size as you desire.
Dragging the slider to the right increases the font size and to the left decreases it.
You will see the font style and size preview after you make the changes.
