5 Best Verizon Phones Under $300 in 2024
Verizon is one of the largest carriers in the U.S. and with good reason. We have a bundle of customers out there who prefer Verizon over any other wireless carrier. That’s mainly due to the kind of service that the carrier provides. We recently spoke about Verizon phones that are available for under two hundred, and today, we’re taking the price range slightly higher at three hundred. This will include a lot more devices, which means that the choices will be more confusing for prospective buyers. But even then, these are some of the best cheap phones available right now from Verizon. Let’s have a look.

5 Best Verizon Phones Under Three Hundred Dollars
Moto X (4th gen)
We thought the Moto X was dead and gone, but that wasn’t the case when Moto revived it late last year. The smartphone didn’t make much noise in 2017, however, which was largely due to the presence of the Apple iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Interestingly, Moto isn’t marketing this as a high-end phone, but as a mid-tier offering. This means that the smartphone comes with all the markers of a mid-range device.
In terms of hardware, the Moto X4 comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, accompanied by the octa-core Snapdragon 630 chipset, 32GB of internal storage (expandable), 3GB of RAM. It comes also comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, dual 12-megapixel rear cameras, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a massive 3,000 mAh battery, which should keep the device going for prolonged intervals.
As you can see by the hardware specs sheet, Moto isn’t shooting for the stars here. However, as a mid-ranger, the Moto X4 is an excellent offering. The cameras are the highlight of this flagship, while the build quality is also pretty impressive. Keeping this in mind, we highly recommend this device. This device works on Verizon, too, which is a plus. You can check it out on Amazon. It’s unlocked and offered in the Super Black color variant.
Apple iPhone 6
The iPhone 6 is a pretty old device. Launched in 2014, the handset has seen multiple successors, including the recently launched iPhone 8. However, most of you will be surprised to know that Apple still supports the smartphone with software updates. And with the company’s recent decision to cut down prices of battery replacements, the iPhone 6 is pretty much a modern day flagship. This device comes with a 4.7-inch 750 x 1334 display, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.2-megapixel front shooter, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of non-expandable storage, the dual-core Apple A8 processor, and iOS 11.3.
The specs might not impress, but the performance surely will. It is compatible with Verizon networks so that you can bring over your connection to this new device. The iPhone 6 is a worthy buy, even if it’s nearly 4 years old in the marketplace. The limited storage, however, remains a concern, especially considering how much the operating system eats up.
But customers can rectify this particular issue by getting an iCloud subscription for all their photos and videos to be stored across the cloud and accessed from any iDevice. Will you pick the iPhone 6?
HTC 10
A somewhat forgotten flagship, the HTC 10 was considered to be one of the best HTC phones to have reached the markets. However, the smartphone didn’t leave a lasting impression on the public, mainly due to the presence of other, more powerful offerings from rival manufacturers. However, this metal flagship came with one of the best mobile cameras of the time, leaving behind even the likes of the Galaxy S7. It packs a 12-megapixel f/1.8 rear camera with optical image stabilization. The front is equipped with a 5-megapixel f/1.8 sensor for amazing selfies. All these factors considered, the HTC 10 is definitely worth a buy as a camera phone.
It also comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD LCD panel, the quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC, Android 6.0 Marshmallow (upgradable to Oreo), 4GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
Amazon is currently offering the Verizon variant of the flagship. Considering the hardware features onboard, this doesn’t seem like a steep price tag. However, the retailer isn’t offering a lot of color options, with Glacial Silver being the only available option. Be sure to check it out.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge
This Samsung flagship doesn’t require a special mention as it has been immensely popular in the marketplace. The company’s edge display concept from the Galaxy S6 edge proved to work very well for the company, and hence it was only logical that the company used it with the successor. Although the Galaxy S7 edge didn’t make the noise that was expected of the company, it definitely grabbed our attention. We are now looking at a deal on Amazon for the Verizon Wireless version of the smartphone.
The Galaxy S7 edge comes with an all-metal construction and the unique edge display, offering users the extra space for a range of functional features. You can arrange icons there and even read your messages. Frankly, the edge display can prove to be a bit of an inconvenience, but that could be one of my pet peeves.
That aside, the Galaxy S7 edge set the benchmark for what a phone should be. It was powerful, quick, and offered great value for money, especially in comparison to the iPhone 6s that was popular at the time.
To talk about the hardware, the Galaxy S7 edge comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED edge display, 32GB of expandable storage, 4GB of RAM, the quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC, a 12-megapixel f/1.7 rear camera, accompanied by a 5-megapixel f/1.7 front camera, Android 6.0 Marshmallow (upgradable to Nougat), and a 3,600 mAh battery. The certified refurbished model of the handset is currently being offered on Amazon.
Moto G Plus (5th gen)
This version of the Moto G Plus is an Amazon Prime exclusive, which means you can only get it if you have a Prime subscription from the retailer. There’s more than one good reason to go with the subscription, however, and we’ll come to that later. As for the Moto G5 Plus, it comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a 12-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, the octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset, 64GB of expandable storage, 4GB of RAM, a fingerprint sensor, and a 3,000 mAh battery. The phone also comes with Android 7.0 Nougat, although it can be updated to Oreo as per the manufacturer.
The Moto G Plus here comes unlocked, making it eligible to run on any network in the U.S., including Verizon Wireless. The price tag is a fantastic value for an offering like this, don’t you think?
Coming back to Amazon Prime, well, it can help you unlock deals faster than normal users, give you access to exclusive products like this one, and also open the gateway for a bevy of content including music, original programming, and much more. Expedited shipping is also part of the Amazon Prime subscription, making this a complete setup for those who frequently shop on Amazon.
