5 Best Caller ID App For LG V40 ThinQ

Tired of getting phone calls from random numbers, not knowing who is really calling you? It’s always a surprise when you pick up the phone, which is something that you just don’t want. That’s why Caller ID apps are so handy — use one of these apps, and they’ll be able to search for the number calling you in their database, instantly telling you who is ringing your phone. Many of them can even tell you if it’s a spam number calling!

Not sure what Caller ID app is perfect for the LG V40 ThinQ? If you follow along with us below, we’ll show you our top picks! Here they are.

Hiya comes in as first up on our list. This one is easily one of the best Caller ID applications out on the market right now. This is a no-frills way of identifying people that are ringing your phone. Hiya will look at their database, see if the number is in it, and then provide you with a name and hopefully a general location as well. Hiya also has a thriving spam database, which will identify spam numbers that are calling you, and then warn you about them when they’re calling you. If a spam number gets through — you can report it, and then it’ll add that number to their database.

Hiya is completely free to use and download from the Google Play Store, and one of the more unique things about it is that there’s no advertisements here.

Truecaller is next up on our list, and is actually the most popular Caller ID app out on the market right now. Millions of people use Truecaller on a daily basis — that said, Truecaller actually has over 250 million phone numbers in its database. That means there are over 250 million numbers that Truecaller can recognize and provide you Caller ID information on. When a number calls you with Truecaller, you should quickly and easily get some information on the name of the person calling, as well as the general location.

Truecaller actually has a massive spam database as well. If a spam number tries to ring your phone, Truecaller can warn you about the number calling. If one gets through, you can add the number to the spam database, and Truecaller will warn other Truecaller users about it.

Showcaller comes in as third on our list, but this is still an excellent way to identify phone numbers that are calling you out of nowhere. They — much like Truecaller — have a large phone number database for recognizing and identifying unknown phone numbers. You should easily get name and location information on who is actually calling you with Showcaller. In fact, it’s able to recognize both landlines and mobile devices. One of the unique things about Showcaller is that it’s only 4MB in size — it won’t take up much space on your phone at all.

Showcaller also has a database of spam numbers. If one of those numbers calls you or someone using Showcaller, Showcaller will warn them that the number has been flagged as spam. If a spam number gets through, you can report them, and it’ll be added to the Showcaller spam database.

Supercaller comes in as fourth up on our top five rundown of Caller ID apps. This one, like the others, will be able to easily recognize any number that you aren’t familiar with — you should get some basic information like name and general location when they’re calling you. It’s worth noting that Supercaller isn’t nearly as large as Truecaller or Hiya, so it might not be able to recognize every phone number that rings you.

WhosCall comes in as number five on our list, and even thought it is last, this is still a wonderful Caller ID application for the LG V40 ThinQ. Like the others, you’ll be able to easily use this app to identify phone numbers, giving you basic information like first and last name, as well as a general location. Thanks to a large spam database, WhosCall is able to easily recognize telemarketers and spammers that you don’t want calling you. It’s worth noting that WhosCaller is indeed supported by advertisements.
