The Moto Z4 Is Official with a 48MP Camera and 6.4-Inch Display

The Moto Z4 is perhaps the company’s worst kept secret in recent memory after the handset was listed on Amazon a few days ago. However, it turned out to be a minor hiccup with the smartphone now going official on Motorola’s official website. As expected, the Moto Z4 builds up on its predecessor and packs a familiar design. What’s even better is that the handset retains compatibility with Moto Mods, something that the aforementioned leak had also hinted at.

In the hardware department, the Moto Z4 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display sporting a 19:9 aspect ratio. The display panel also accommodates the iconic notch for the 25MP front facing f/2.0 sensor. The back accommodates a 48MP f/1.7 camera which utilizes something known as Quad Pixel technology to process pictures down to 12MP. The Z4 includes the standard array of AI related software and services while also introducing Night Mode to the Z lineup. This phone is also compatible with the new 5G Moto Mod which will let you access next-gen high speed networks.

The Z4 comes with a whopping 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded with a microSD card. The RAM capacity is 4GB here, which is plenty for a device of this caliber. Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 (11nm) chipset, promising efficient performance. You will also find an in-display fingerprint scanner.

As expected, there’s a 3,600 mAh battery under the hood and the company supplies a 15W TurboPower charger along with the handset. An almost stock version of Android 9.0 Pie is running by default here. Motorola is offering the Moto Z4 in Flash Grey and Frost White colors with the handset slated to go on sale starting June 6 for $499.
