Hiding Files/Folders in Android 13

Some files are hidden in the Android system by default. There are also some files that end-users hide on purpose. For instance, you can create a new hidden folder inside any of the system directories of your Android smartphone so that you will have a dedicated folder to hide all your confidential files.

While hidden files do not appear in any of the system directories as other normal (visible) contents, there’s always a way to access and manage them when needed. All you have to do is make use of the integrated Files app command to unhide or show hidden files.

Should you wish to hide those files and folders again, just tap to turn the Show hidden files switch OFF.

And that’s how to show hidden files on the new Google Pixel 7 smartphone.
