Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Stuck in Boot Loop

If you find yourself experiencing the problem wherein your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is stuck in a boot loop or your phone stops responding when its logo shows up, there might be a problem with your system files. According to XDA Developers, the usual factor triggering the issue is system files interfering with each other.

Here are the quick solutions that you can apply to solve the Galaxy Note 2 Stuck in Boot Loop problem:

For Galaxy Note 2 Running on Stock ROM

Just follow the steps here for a quick fix:

Step 1 – Power Off the Device

Remove the battery of your phone so that it will turn off. Wait for at least 30 seconds before reinserting the battery.

Step 2 – Enter Recovery Mode

Press and hold down the Power, Home and Volume Down keys. Release the keys once you see that your phone enters Recovery Mode.

Step 3 – Perform Factory Reset

Select the “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” option. Note that this will completely wipe out all the data stored in your phone like the third-party apps that you have installed, pictures, videos and others.

Step 4 – Wipe Cache Partition

For a good measure, you can also select “Wipe Cache Partition”.

Step 5 – Reboot

Go back to the main menu of Recovery Mode and choose “Reboot System Now”.

For Rooted Galaxy Note 2

Repeat steps 1 and 2 above then proceed with these steps:

Step 1 – Wipe Dalvik Cache

Assuming you are already in CWM Recovery Mode, go to Advanced. Then, select Wipe. Next, choose “Dalvik Cache”.

Step 2 – Wipe Cache

Go to “Mounts & Storage” and then select the “Wipe Cache” option.

Step 3 – Reboot Device

Go back to the main menu and choose the option that will let you reboot your device.

Step 4 – Optional

If your phone still fails to reboot successfully, perform the same steps before rebooting again.

BUT you must edit your ‘instructions’ to state that it’s the UPvolume+home+power key combo that gets to ‘Recovery’ (in my case, TWRP !!Your error can cause much confusion and frustration!!!
