How To Fix A Samsung Galaxy A22 That’s Not Turning On

There’s a few things you can do if your phone does not power on anymore. Most of the time, it’s just due to a minor firmware-related problem that the device won’t respond, although it is also possible that it’s caused by either physical or liquid damage.

But if your phone hasn’t been powering on out of the box, then it’s defective and you should have it replaced immediately. But assuming that your device has been working fine and then this problem happened without apparent reason, then here are the things you should do:

First solution: Try doing the forced restart

The forced restart is often the most effective solution for this issue. In fact, that might be the only thing you need to do to make your phone work perfectly again. It is because such a problem is often due to a firmware crash wherein Android just stops responding. When that happens it causes your phone to get stuck on a black screen.

To do the forced restart, press and hold the volume down button and the power key for 8 seconds and then release them when the logo shows.

As long as you can make the logo show on the screen, it’s a sign that the problem is already fixed. However, if this doesn’t fix the problem, then move on to the next solution.

Second solution: Charge your phone and do the forced restart

The next thing you have to do if the first solution fails is to make sure your phone still has enough battery left. If you’ve already tried charging it and it won’t respond, then it’s possible that the system crashed just before the battery ran out.

As a result, you have a phone that won’t boot up normally due to a system crash and a drained battery. But don’t worry, you can still fix it. Here’s how:

  1. Plug the power adapter to a working wall outlet.
  2. Connect your phone to it using the original cable.
  3. Leave it connected to the charger for 10 minutes regardless of whether the charging symbol shows or not.
  4. After that, press and hold the volume down button and the power key for 10 seconds or more while the device is still connected to the charger.
  5. If the logo shows, then release both keys and wait until it boots up successfully.

Basically, these are the only things you have to do on your end to fix a problem like this. If your phone is still not responding after this, then have it replaced or fixed.
