The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro were announced yesterday and the two phones didn’t disappoint. Although we’ve learned plenty about the OnePlus 8 Pro and the OnePlus 8 over the past few weeks, the launch confirmed a few things that were previously rumored. Well, the company has now put the two smartphones on pre-order with some exciting launch-day freebies to get fans in on the action quickly.
Some of these freebies include a wireless charger as well as the OnePlus Bullet Wireless Earbuds Z. While the wireless earbuds will be offered with pre-orders of the OnePlus 8 as well as the OnePlus 8 Pro, the wireless charger is only offered with the OnePlus 8 Pro as it’s the only phone among the two to support wireless charging, including OnePlus’ 30W wireless fast charging. Known as the free Warp Charge 30, this is among the fastest wireless chargers on the market today, and early customers will have a chance to get it for free, which is very exciting.
Naturally, launch-day bundles are not usually available in abundance, so customers may need to hurry before stocks run out. OnePlus will start deliveries of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro starting April 29. While the Pro variant will be sold in colors like Onyx Black, Ultramarine Blue, and Glacial Green, the entry-level OnePlus 8 will only be available in Interstellar Glow and Glacial Green variants.
The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are available with 128 or 256GB of internal storage coupled with 8GB or 12GB of RAM underneath. Both phones run on the octa-core Snapdragon 865 SoC, so there will be no compromise in terms of raw power with the OnePlus 8 lineup.
