You can mirror Galaxy S20 screen to a PC monitor using a cable or adapter so that you can have a bigger display for your phone. We’ve already published a post on how to screen mirror S20 to a smart TV using a wireless method, so if you prefer that method, then feel free to follow the link.
Now, in this post, I will guide you on how to properly connect your Galaxy S20 to a PC monitor to have a bigger and better display. The reason why I prefer to use this method when gaming is that the graphics quality is almost perfect. But before anything, there’s one very important thing that you need to have.
Either you get the USB-C to HDMI cable or USB-C Adapter. I happen to have the latter.
Mirroring Galaxy S20 Screen
Time Needed : 3 minutes
As long as you have the required cable or adapter, the entire process can be pretty straightforward.
- Setup the monitor and cable
Make sure your PC monitor is turned on and HDMI cable plugged into the port.
- Connect the USB-C cable or adapter to your phone’s charging port.
If you’re using the USB-C cable, then you should have your phone’s screen displayed on the PC monitor already. If you have the adapter just like me, then move on to the next step.
- Plug the HDMI cable to the port on the adapter.
After doing this, your phone and PC monitor are already bridged and you should already be viewing whatever it is on your phone’s screen on the monitor.
- USB-C to HDMI cable
- Galaxy S20, PC monitor
And that’s pretty much how to mirror Galaxy S20 screen to a PC monitor.
When using this method, you can always expect that the quality of the graphics stays almost the same as with your phone’s display.
So now, you can enjoy gaming on your phone and share the fun with friends and family on a bigger screen.
I hope that this simple tutorial has been helpful.
