Your phone must first satisfy two carrier requirements before it can send or receive an MMS. First, it should have an active mobile data subscription and that it should be getting a strong mobile data signal, preferably LTE. Second, your phone should have the correct APN setting. This setting is unique for each carrier so make sure to compare your carrier APN setting with the one on your phone and make the necessary changes on your device if needed.
To access the APN settings of your phone:
- Tap Settings
- Tap Mobile networks
- Tap Access point names (APN)
- From here you can reset the APN to default or add a new APN.

Perform a factory reset
