How To Fix The LG Q Stylo 4 Won’t Turn On Issue

Before sending your phone to a service center and having it repaired make sure to have performed the troubleshooting steps listed below which are recommended for this particular problem.

Charge the phone

What you will want to do first in this case  is to make sure that its battery has sufficient charge. There have been several cases when the battery has been completely drained thus preventing the phone to turn on. This factor is what we will be eliminating first by following the steps listed below.

  • Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed.
  • Fully charge the phone using its wall charger.
  • In case the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port in case charging using the wall charger fails to work.

Once the battery has been fully charged try turning on the phone. If it still does not turn on then proceed with the additional troubleshooting steps listed below.

Perform a soft reset

Refreshing the phone software will eliminate the possibility of the problem being caused by a minor software glitch. This can be done easily by simply restarting the device. Press and hold the Power button and Volume Down until the device powers off, approximately 8 seconds, then release.

Wipe the cache partition of the phone
