Charge from a different power outlet

There’s a possibility that you are plugging the phone charger to a power outlet that is not working. To eliminate this possibility you should try plugging the charger to a different power outlet. Check the phone charging port

The presence of dirt or debris stuck in the charging port of the phone can prevent the charger from charging the phone. Make sure that the charging port of the phone is free from any debris by blowing air to it. In case the charging port of the phone is wet then you should dry this first by leaving the device in a cool area for a few hours. The liquid present in the port will evaporate naturally. • From the Home screen, tap Settings.
• Tap the ‘General’ tab.

• Select the following options: Cached data, Clip tray temporary files, Raw files from camera.
• Tap Delete > DELETE

Perform a factory reset

In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then one final troubleshooting step to consider is a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.

• Turn off the device.
• Press and hold the Power and Volume down buttons.
• When the LG logo appears, quickly release and then re-hold the Power button while continuing to hold the Volume down button.
