How to Fix iPhone 16 Bluetooth Dropping Connection to Accessories

Some iPhone 16 owners are experiencing Bluetooth connectivity issues where accessories repeatedly disconnect or fail to pair. The following fixes address the most common Bluetooth problems.

Fix #1: Toggle Bluetooth Off and On

A quick Bluetooth cycle on the iPhone 16 can re-establish dropped connections.

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Turn Bluetooth off, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on.

Fix #2: Forget and Re-Pair the Accessory

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Tap the i icon next to the problematic device.
  3. Tap Forget This Device.
  4. Put the accessory in pairing mode and reconnect.

Fix #3: Force Restart
