How to Fix Samsung Galaxy S22 That Can’t Send MMS

MMS failures on the Galaxy S22 are usually caused by incorrect APN settings or network issues. Follow these steps to restore your multimedia messaging.

Method 1: Reset APN Settings

  1. Open Settings and tap Connections.
  2. Tap Mobile networks > Access Point Names.
  3. Tap the three-dot menu and select Reset to default.
  4. Restart your phone.
  5. Try sending an MMS message.

Method 2: Enable Mobile Data

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Quick Settings.
  2. Make sure Mobile Data is turned on.
  3. MMS requires an active data connection to send and receive.
  4. If data is on but not working, toggle it off and back on.
  5. Try sending the MMS again.

Method 3: Clear Messages App Cache

  1. Go to Settings > Apps.
  2. Find and tap Messages.
  3. Tap Storage.
  4. Tap Clear cache.
  5. Restart your phone and try sending an MMS.

Method 4: Check Message Size

  1. Open the Messages app.
  2. Check if the image or video you’re sending exceeds the carrier’s MMS size limit (usually 1-3 MB).
  3. Resize the image or compress the video before sending.
  4. Try sending a smaller file first to confirm MMS works.
  5. Contact your carrier if the issue persists to check your MMS plan.

Method 5: Reset Network Settings

  1. Go to Settings > General management.
  2. Tap Reset > Reset network settings.
  3. Tap Reset settings and confirm.
  4. Reconnect to your mobile network.
  5. Try sending an MMS message.

  1. Have done all that….VERIZON tech couldn’t fix it even with remote access. Samsung rep was useless as well.
