How To Enable & Schedule Dark Theme On Google Pixel 7

You will be able to appreciate the usefulness of the dark theme when you’re reading articles at night or even just browsing through your device. What the dark theme actually does is turn your phone’s interface into black, which can be easier on your eyes especially at night.

Enabling and scheduling the dark theme on your Pixel 7 is easy to do. In fact, you’ll be able to do it in just a couple of minutes and we will guide you. So here’s how it’s done:

  1. Pull down the Quick Settings panel.

You can do that by swiping down from the top of the screen twice. The first swipe will pull down the Notification panel, and the second one is for the Quick Settings pane.

  2. With Quick Settings pulled down, tap the gear icon at the bottom of the screen.

Doing so will open the Settings app on your phone which allows you to change some features.

  3. Scroll down a bit to find Display and once found, tap on it.

This will show you the options that allow you to change some settings for your phone’s screen.

  4. At the lower part, find and tap Dark theme.

You will be shown the options to enable and schedule Dark Theme.

  5. To enable the feature immediately, tap the switch next so Use Dark theme.

The interface will then be inverted with black background and white texts.

  6. However, if you want to automate it, then tap Schedule.

A small window will pop up with a few options.

  7. Tap Turns on at custom time.

This option will allow you to set specific time as to when Dark theme will be enabled and disabled.

  8. Enter Start and End times.

This must be the time when you spend more time browsing through your phone at night.

  9. Tap Schedule again and select Turns on from sunset to sunrise.

This option will still automatically enable and disable Dark theme depending on your time zone.

In most cases, it will be enabled when the sun sets and gets disable again in the morning. You don’t have to set a specific time for it nor worry about the feature ever again once the option is selected.

And that’s how you enable and schedule the Dark theme feature on your Google Pixel 7.

We hope this guide can be helpful.
