Some Samsung phones allow you to add watermark on photos taken by their cameras. However, its flagship devices don’t allow you to do that. Aside from that, you cannot automatically add date and time stamps the moment you snap the photos.

But to set the expectations straight, you have to do it manually using stickers. Don’t worry though, the date and time that will be placed on your photos are the actual time when the photo was taken and you don’t need to type them manually. They are based on the photo’s metadata, so it’s accurate and you don’t have to use a third party application for it.

Assuming that you've already taken some photos, here's how you date stamp them.
Pull up the apps drawer and tap Gallery.
All your pictures and videos will be visible using the Gallery app. You can also use My Files app to find the photos you want to put date stamps on, although you might still need to choose Gallery to open them.
Look for the photo you want to put a date stamp on, and then tap on it.
The pictures and videos are arranged according to the date they were taken, so you really won’t have any issues finding them.
Tap the Pen tool at the bottom of the image.
Doing so will allow you to edit the photo of your choosing.
Once inside the edit mode, tap the smiley icon.
This will allow you to draw over, add stickers and texts on the photo.
Tap Stickers.

Tap the Calendar icon.

The good thing about this procedure is that you can actually revert the photo back to its original state without date stamps even after saving it. Aside from that, you can also change the dates that will appear on the photos but all the modified dates won’t change the metadata details of the photo.
Date Stamp Photos Using Third-party App
You can also add time stamps on your photos using a third-party application. In fact, there are a lot of apps that offer this feature. The downside to this method is that you won’t be able to use the features of your phone’s camera. Aside from that, you can’t add the date and time of the photos you’ve taken previously.
But anyhow, if you simply want to add time stamps on your new photos, then you should use third-party applications. Here’s how it’s done:
Step 1: Pull up the Apps drawer and tap Play Store.
Step 2: Search for Timestamp Camera and tap Install once found.
Step 3: After the installation, tap Open to run the camera.
By default the app will display the date and time as well as the location where the photo is taken.
If you don’t want to include the location, change the permission of the app and don’t allow it to access your location.
You can now take as much photos as you like and timestamps will appear on them. You can do this regardless of the model of the Android phone you’re using.
