It’s worth noting that this one is a little harder on your battery life. You’re going to get the best battery life out of your built-in flashlight, whereas a dedicated app like Galaxy Flashlight is going to have a harder drain on battery life.

It’s a lightweight and straightforward flashlight, but because it isn’t built right into the system, it’s still going to take up a whole lot more battery than your built-in flashlight will.
This one might come across as a reasonably rare choice because it respects your privacy and does not collect personal information. There is advertising, but that is just the nature of a free flashlight.

Verdict on The Best Flashlight App
As you can see, there are plenty of excellent flashlight apps that you can use for Android. All of these do pretty much the same thing, but it’s at least worth taking one of the options that we mentioned for a spin.
You will want to research any flashlight app that you use pretty carefully, as the Chinese variants of most flashlight applications out there are usually packed full of malware and viruses. And then many “free” options are full of advertisements and other annoying problems that make it difficult to use. Unfortunately, there are so many applications out there like that, but the flashlight apps that we picked out above, you should be fine to use.
Of course, we think the best flashlight app that you can use for Android is the one built-in right into your smartphone. In most cases, the manufacturer includes a built-in flashlight so that you can avoid the annoying ads and risk of malware.
