The Osmo Mobile 2 actually has a lot of different shortcuts built into it — you can easily access things like start and stop recording, shutter, live streaming, panorama, and more all right on the handle. Now, DJI’s gimbal doesn’t connect up to your phone by wire — it uses Bluetooth technology instead, which does mean that you’ll have to charge up the Osmo 2 regularly as well.

 

Zhiyun Handheld Gimbal

If you’re not sold on the DJI Osmo 2, the Zhiyun Handheld Gimbal is probably the next best thing, offering similar features, but in a cheaper package. This one has many of the same shortcut functions sitting right on the handle — start and stop video, shutter, panorama, live streaming, and more.
