5 Best Text To Speech App For Note 9

If you’ve had a smartphone for any length of time, you know that, sometimes, it’s just difficult to type out a text to someone or in response to someone. That’s why speech apps have become so handy — press a button, and then you can talk to your phone, and it’ll transform what you’re saying into a text message. It makes things just a little more convenient while you’re driving or doing something where you can’t type out a message straight away.

Speech to text apps have gotten extremely accurate over the years, too. Before, and especially on Android devices, these apps would always translate what you were saying into the wrong thing. But, with plenty of advancements in this area of technology, these apps are easily able to interpret what you’re saying into something legible.

However, not many people know about text to speech apps. If you’re not able to send a text message, why would you be able to read it? With a text to speech app, the app can read you messages that people are sending you.

So if you’re not sure what text to speech app to grab for your Note 9, be sure to follow along with us below — we’ll show you the best options currently available on the Google Play Store. Here are our top picks.

Text to Speech

First up on our list is the aptly named application called Text to Speech. Once you install it on your phone, you can enter text into Text to Speech, and it’ll read it off for you. There’s surprisingly a lot of neat features to Text to Speech — you can output what you want Text to Speech say as a .wav file so that you can share it with others. You can also adjust the volume, speed, and the pitch of the voice reading the text to you. There’s even a synthesize feature that allows you to use the app in a handful of different languages.

Voice Aloud Reader

Voice Aloud Reader is next up on our list, and operates — as you might imagine — similarly to Text to Speech. This has a handful of extra features, though. You can enter text that you want Voice Aloud Reader to say, but you can also have Voice Aloud Reader read off web pages, news articles, emails, and more to you. You can actually open text files with Voice Aloud Reader, and tell Voice Aloud Reader to read those off to you.

Tell Me – Text to Speech

Tell Me – Text to Speech is next up on our list. This one is fairly basic as far as text to speech goes — you essentially enter into the text field what you want Tell Me to say aloud, and then press the Read button for Tell Me to read it aloud. Tell Me is actually pretty neat, as you can choose different styles of voices, adjust pitch, volume, speed, and so much more. If you like the movie Iron Man, you might even appreciate that it can talk to you in the tone and sound of Jarvis as well!

Google Text To Speech

Google Text To Speech is next up on our list, and on Android devices, this is usually pre-installed by default. However, if you for some reason don’t have it, you can still snag it from the Google Play Store for free. One of the neat things that Google Text To Speech allows you to do is open up an app like, say Google Play Books, and it’ll actually read the book to you.

Text to Voice

Text To Voice is last up on our list, but it’s still a really nice option available to you. You can create or open files, and then have Text to Voice read those off to you. Or, with its built-in browser, you can navigate to a web page and have Text to Voice read that off to you. You can export audio files as well, and on Android devices on Version 6.0 or above, you can select text and have Text to Voice read that off to you as well.

Verdict

As you can see, there are a lot of excellent text to speech apps on the Google Play Store. Most of these are able to achieve the same outcome, but our favorite is easily Google’s own Text to Speech or the Text to Voice app.
