How To Fix Super People Keeps Freezing Issue
There are various factors that can cause the Super People game to freeze. It could be due to a game bug, corrupted game files, or even hardware issues. To fix this you will need to perform several troubleshooting steps.
Super People is a battle royale style game that’s currently under closed beta test over at Steam. You can however ask access to the game and enjoy playing it. Developed by Wonder People and published by Wonder Games, this game allows you to control a super soldier with unique skills and abilities. You can even craft your own weapons from the items you gather to gain an advantage over your opponents.
Super People is freezing on PC
One of the issues that you might experience while playing Super People on your computer is when it freezes. The game might be unresponsive for a few seconds then become responsive again or it might just get stuck being frozen and just display a black screen. This can be an annoying experience as it will degrade your gaming experience.
Here’s what you can do to fix this problem.
Solution 1: Make sure your computer meets the system requirements to run Super People
The first thing you will want to do is to make sure that your PC can run the game. There’s a minimum and there’s a recommended system requirement that your PC must meet. If you plan on playing the game with the highest possible graphics settings then you should go for the recommended requirements to avoid any compatibility issues.

Solution 2: Update graphics drivers
One of the common causes of Super People freezing is due to an outdated graphics driver. Your graphics card manufacturer will usually release new drivers to improve on the older version and fix bugs that might be present. It’s always a good idea to use the latest drivers.
Time needed: 5 minutes.
Updating graphics drivers
- Right click on the Start button.
This can be found at the lower left side of the screen.
- Click on Device Manager.
This allows you to manage your PC devices.
- Click the arrow before Display adapters.
This will show you the graphics card you are using.
- Right click on the selected graphics card then choose Update driver.
Your computer will search for the latest updates available.
- Select Search automatically for drivers.
Your computer will search for the latest drivers available and install it.
Another way that you can get the latest drivers is by using the Nvidia GeForce Experience app if you have an Nvidia card or the Radeon Software if you are using a Radeon card. Just follow the on screen instructions to get the latest version of your drivers.
Once you have updated the drivers try checking if the launching issue still occurs.
Solution 3: Make sure your PC is running on the latest Windows updates
Your Super People game might freeze if your computer is not running on the latest Windows update. These updates to your operating system are important as they introduce several improvements, security patches, and have bug fixes not found in the older version.
Check for Windows updates
Right click the Start button.
Click Settings.
Click Windows Update found on the bottom left side of the new window that appears.
Click Check for updates.
If new updates are found then click on the Install now button.
One the latest update has been installed restart your computer then check if the game crashing or freezing issue still occurs.
Solution 4: Force close the Super People game
If your Super People game has frozen and is not responding at all then you will need to force close it. This will usually fix the problem as it will remove any temporary corrupted data that’s causing the issue.
Force close Super People
Press CTRL-ALT-DEL simultaneously on your keyboard.
Click on Task Manager.
Click on the Processes tab.
Right click on Super People then click End Task.
Once the game has closed try running it again and check if the loading issues still occurs.
Solution 5: End other running applications
If you have other applications such as Chrome, Microsoft Word, or Excel running while you are playing Super People then this will reduce the amount of RAM and CPU power that the game can access. You need to make sure that the game can use most of your system resources by closing other apps running.
Force close applications
Right click on the Start button then click on Task Manager.
Make sure to click on More details found at the bottom left part of the window if it appears.
Click on the Processes tab.
Right click on the apps running and select End task. Do this for all apps except Super People and Steam.
Solution 6: Temporarily disable your antivirus program
If your antivirus program is constantly running a check on the game or blocking it then this can cause the freezing or crashing issue. You should try to temporarily disable the antivirus program you are using to check if this is what’s causing the problem.
If the freezing issue does not occur after disabling the security program then you should add the Super People game to its exception list. Make sure to turn on the antivirus software once this is done.
Solution 7: Verify integrity of game files
One factor that can cause Super People to freeze or crash is due to missing or corrupted game files. You can use the Steam client to check for any missing game files or corrupted game files. If any file issues are found Steam will automatically download fresh copies from the server.
Open Steam client.
Click on Steam Library.
Find MIR4 then right click it then select Properties.
On the new window that appears click on Local Files.
Click Verify integrity of game files…
When this process has completed try checking if the problem persists.
Solution 8: Reinstall Super People
Sometimes the problem can already be caused by a corrupted game installation. You can uninstall then reinstall the game to fix this. This will delete the current game installed in your computer and replace it with a fresh version.
Uninstalling the game
Open the Steam Client.
Go to the Steam Library tab.
Right click on Super People then click on Manage then uninstall.
Select Uninstall again to uninstall the game.
Installing the game
Open the Steam Client.
Go to the Steam Library tab.
Right click on MIR4 then click on install.
