S7 Edge Not Turning On After Hard Reset

Problem: I had my samsung s7 edge hard reset and format, now my device wont turn on, the notification light that was constantly blinking had stopped entirely and no charging red light appears. To conclude my device is completely dead

Solution: For this particular case you will want to make sure that the phone battery has sufficient charge to power on the device. That’s why the first thing that needs to be done is to follow the steps listed below to charge the phone for at least 20 minutes.

  • Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed.
  • Perform a simulated battery pull by pressing and holding both power and volume down button for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this.
  • Charge the phone using its orignal charger.
  • If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger.
  • Try to check if the phone charges from a computer USB port.
  • Try to check if the phone charges wirelessly.

One the phone charges try turning it on.

If the phone does not charge or if it does not turn on and remains unresponsive then this might already be a hardware related problem. You will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked if this is the case.

S7 Edge Black Screen With Pulsing Blue LED Light

Problem: My Samsung s7 Edge is frozen with a black screen and a pulsing blue light. I have tried all your suggestions to reboot, etc but nothing seems to get it out of the frozen mode. Any suggestions?

Related Problem: I did an update to my phone and when it was done it went to reboot but all I got was a black screen and blue light on top of phone. No response at all to anything.

Solution: If your phone has a microSD card installed then try removing this as this could be causing the problem. If the phone still does not turn on after this then try performing a simulated battery pull by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this. If it doesn’t then try to check if the phone is able to start in recovery mode. From here you will need to do a factory reset.

If the above steps fail to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S7 Edge Stuck In AT&T Logo

Problem: Hi, have Samsung S7 Edge that won’t turn back on after turning off.   Only shows the AT&T logo screen and doesn’t respond to anything such as a being plugged in or holding down power key and volume key.   Any idea on how to resolve problem?

Solution: The first thing you should do in this particular problem is to remove the microSD card if your phone has one installed. If the issue remains then try doing a simulated battery pull by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this. If the issue persists then try starting the phone in recovery mode. From here you will have to do a factory reset. If the reset fails to fix the problem then it’s possible that the phone is bricked in which case you will need to flash it with its updated firmware file using Odin. You can download the firmware file of your phone from the Sammobile website which should also have the instructions on how to flash your phone.

Should the above steps fail to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S7 Edge Moisture Detected In Charging Port Error

Problem: Hi! When I was charging my samsung s7 edge it showed a message that said that moisture was detected in charging port. So I did all the troubleshooting methods. I blow dried it and clean it with moist cloth then put it on rice overnight but still it won’t charge. I reset the phone and still it won’t charge.

Solution: Try using a different charging cord and wall charger when charging your phone. If the error message still occurs then there might be something wrong with the charging port of your phone. I suggest that you have this checked at a service center.

S7 Edge Screen Is Flickering After Phone Dropped

Problem: My galaxy s7 edge fell on concrete and it did not Crack but when I picked it up the screen was flickering I can see my apps and unlock my phone but I want to know if there is a solution to this I don’t think it’s a virus thing…… please help

Solution: It’s possible that the drop has somehow damaged the display of the phone causing the flickering problem. To check if this is the case just backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps yet. If the flickering problem does not happen then it could just be caused by a software glitch. However, if the flickering still occurs then it’s very likely caused by a damaged display. I recommend that you have this checked at a service center if this is the case.

S7 Edge Screen Is Black

Problem: I have a samsung galaxy s7 edge. I turn it off to place a new screen protector and when i was done i tried turning on the phone and it was black. I tried everything to make it work and nothing. Can you be able to provide me with more information on how to get this issue fixed. It happened twice already. Thank you

Related Problem: Phone froze on the black screen slowing the time and battery at 60%. Tried the hard reset using power and volume down, screen turned black but didn’t reboot. Tried every reboot option you’ve had on here absolutely no response.

Solution: What you should do first in this case is to charge your phone for at least 20 minutes. Make sure that you see the charging indicator when you do this. If no charging indicator is present then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Clean the charging port of your phone using a can of compressed air.
  • Try charging your phone using a different charging cord and wall charger.
  • Try charging your phone from a computer USB port.
  • If you have a wireless charger then try using this to charge your phone.

One the battery has charged you need to simulate a battery pull first by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. Your phone should restart after this.

If the issue persists then try to check if the phone will start in recovery mode. From here you will have to do a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.
