Solution: Hello Luka. Does this randomly happen to any song? Did this happen the very first time you have attempted to play music on your device? Are you using the stock music player or a third party one? It appears that the audio and music display are not syncing with each other. A complete reboot is a good way to jumpstart the troubleshooting as it refreshes the software and stops running apps hence resolving firmware and app related issues most of the time. Since it did not help, the issue may lie on the app contents itself. Try clearing the music app’s cache by following the steps detailed above. It is also possible that this is a bug in the system. Hey man. I seem to be having a problem with the music on my Galaxy S6 at the moment. When I am playing music and a song ends, instead of going to the next song, it stops playing any music at all. My other problem happens while I am on certain apps just looking around and checking updates (ex. snapchat, messaging, etc.) and I try to play music from the scroll down bar. An error pops up saying “unable to play music when audio or video is recording” and keep in mind, this happens when I’m not recording any audio of sorts that I am aware of. Solution: Hi Ryan. Are you using the default music player or a third party music app? Clearing the music app’s cache should help resolve this. If this is a third party app, try uninstalling then reinstalling it as this appears to be some kind of bug to me. Better yet, install a different music app this time. You can browse through Google Play Store and select the music app that fits you. If this is affecting your stock music app and is firmware related, the best way to go is to reset your phone to factory settings. This will completely wipe out your phone so make sure to keep a backup copy of all your files.
PROBLEM # 3: Samsung Galaxy S6 Music Pauses When Disconnecting From Wi-Fi
Hello guys. I would like to know if you got any report on the following problem. Recently, when I’m listening to music from the music player (Samsung’s), I noticed a short glitch like a very short pause/play. Then I noticed it only happens every time I pass through Wi-Fi hot spots. So I realized the music paused for a millisecond only when the phone disconnected from the Wi-Fi and reconnected to the mobile data network (4g and 3g). Solution: Hi Anthoni. Unfortunately, there have been no reports of this issue in the past and I am positive this has nothing to do with the third party apps you have installed. Is your Wi-Fi and mobile data turned on at the same time? Based on your findings, the best solution for this is to turn off your Wi-Fi while you are on mobile data and vice versa. If you are not using the net while playing music, turn off both of them. This is also one good way of isolating the issue further to see if it still occurs while offline. You may also want to reboot the device to refresh all the settings. So far, this is the best workaround. Let us know if you need further assistance.
