Here are some things you can try to fix your Nokia 6 that is stuck in Download Mode:

Force reboot your phone.

Press and hold the Volume Up + Power buttons together for about 10 seconds. This should force your phone to restart and hopefully exit Download Mode.

Flash the stock firmware.

If the force reboot doesn’t work, you can try flashing the stock firmware to your phone. This will overwrite the corrupted system files and hopefully fix the problem. You can find the stock firmware for your phone on the Nokia website.

Here are the steps on how to flash the stock firmware to your Nokia 6:

  1. Download the stock firmware for your phone from the Nokia website.
  2. Download the Android SDK Platform-Tools from the Android website.
  3. Extract the contents of the Android SDK Platform-Tools archive to a folder on your computer.
  4. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable.
  5. Enable USB debugging on your phone.
  6. Open a command prompt window in the folder where you extracted the Android SDK Platform-Tools archive.
  7. Type the following command and press Enter:

Code snippet

fastboot flash all <filename>

Replace <filename> with the name of the stock firmware file you downloaded.

  1. Once the flashing process is complete, disconnect your phone from your computer.
  2. Your phone should now boot up normally.

Factory Reset

A factory reset will erase all of the data on your phone, including your apps, photos, and settings. It is a good option if you are having problems with your phone that cannot be fixed by other means.

To factory reset your Nokia 6:

  1. Turn off your phone.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Down + Power buttons together for about 10 seconds.
  3. When you see the Android logo, release the buttons.
  4. Use the Volume buttons to scroll down to “wipe data/factory reset” and press the Power button to select it.
  5. Use the Volume buttons to scroll down to “Yes–delete all user data” and press the Power button to select it.
  6. Your phone will now erase all of your data. This process may take a few minutes.
  7. When the erase process is complete, your phone will reboot.
  8. Your phone will now be reset to its factory settings.

Once your phone has been reset, you will need to set it up again. You will need to restore your data from a backup if you have one.

Here are some things to keep in mind before you factory reset your phone:

  • Make sure you have a backup of your data. If you don’t, you will lose all of your data, including your apps, photos, and settings.
  • If you have a security lock on your phone, you will need to enter the lock code when you set it up again.
  • If you have a Google account, your phone will be linked to that account after you reset it. You will need to sign in to your Google account to use some of the features of your phone, such as the Play Store.

Factory resetting your phone is a drastic measure, but it can be a helpful way to fix problems that cannot be fixed by other means. If you are considering factory resetting your phone, make sure you weigh the pros and cons carefully.

Take your phone to a certified repair center.

If you’ve tried the above steps and your phone is still stuck in Download Mode, you’ll need to take it to a certified repair center. They will be able to diagnose the problem and fix it for you.

I forgot that my phone was OTA failed that why its goes on download. So these steps still works?

Yes, the steps I mentioned should still work if your phone is stuck in Download Mode because of an OTA update failure. However, if you have already tried the steps and your phone is still stuck in Download Mode, you may need to take your phone to a certified repair center for further assistance.

Here are some additional things you can try:

  • Try a different USB cable.
  • Try a different USB port on your computer.
  • Try restarting your computer.
  • Try restarting your phone.

If you’ve tried all of the above and your phone is still stuck in Download Mode, you may need to take your phone to a certified repair center for further assistance.
