LG Pay goes live in the US…but only one phone can use it

LG Pay, LG’s contactless payment system, has finally launched in the United States, the company revealed today. However, it’s only available on one phone.

The payment system will work in a similar fashion to other contactless options like Samsung Pay and Google Pay. Open up LG Pay at a terminal, verify the payment, hover it over the terminal, and it should take the payment.

Unfortunately, very few people are going to be able to use it right out of the gate, though. For now, it’s only available on LG’s new LG G8 ThinQ.

If you don’t already have LG Pay on your G8 ThinQ, grab it below.
