HMD Unveils Budget-Friendly HMD Vibe Smartphone for U.S. Market

Helsinki, Finland-based HMD, Human Mobile Devices, known for being Europe’s largest smartphone maker, has announced the launch of its first original smartphone for the U.S. market. The HMD Vibe is a budget-friendly device that promises to deliver impressive performance and features at an accessible price point of $149.

The HMD Vibe is powered by a Snapdragon octa-core processor, providing smooth performance even when running multiple apps simultaneously. The device also offers up to 4 GB of additional virtual memory for seamless multitasking.

With a battery life of up to 2 days between charges, users can enjoy extended use without frequent recharging.

In the camera department, the HMD Vibe features a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP AF primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.

The camera is equipped with HDR and AI imaging capabilities, ensuring high-quality photos with minimal lag time. For selfies and video calls, the device sports a 5MP front-facing camera.

The HMD Vibe is set to be available in the U.S. starting in May 2024. Consumers can purchase the device for $149 through HMD’s official website (www.hmd.com) and major retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy.
