It’s a good game and it would be a shame if you cannot make it work properly. So if you’re one of the people that encountered an issue while gaming with it, here are the things you should do to fix it. 

1. First solution: Force stop & relaunch Hello Neighbor 2.

   
   The first thing you have to try is to force stop the game. Doing so will also stop all of its services that are running in the background, and relaunching it will also reload the game and in most cases, it will fix minor issues like crashes. 
   
   Here’s how you do it:
   
   Step 1. Press the Xbox button on the controller. 
   Step 2. Highlight Hello Neighbor 2 and press the Menu button. 
   Step 3. Select Quit to stop the game. 
   
   After doing that, launch the game and see if it still crashes at some point. If it does, then move on to the next solution. 

2. Second solution: Restart the console.

   
   Rebooting your Xbox can also help fix game crashes as it refreshes the memory as well as reloads all the core services, provided that the problem is serious or server-related. So try doing this procedure to see if you can make Hello Neighbor 2 to work properly after that: 
   
   Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button until the Power center shows. 
   Step 2. Select Restart console and select Restart to confirm. 
   
   Wait until the reboot is finished and then re-launch Hello Neighbor 2 to know if the problem is fixed.

   Step 2. Under General, select Network settings.

5. Fifth solution: Clear the game’s cache. 

   
   There are times when the game’s cache gets corrupted and affect the performance of the game itself. So what you have to do next is to delete the current cache so that it will be replaced with a new once. Here’s how you do that: 
   
   Step 1. Press the Xbox button on your controller, and select My games & apps. 
   Step 2. On the next menu, select See all. 
   Step 3. Highlight Hello Neighbor 2 and press the More options button. 
   Step 4. Select Manage game and add-ons. 
   Step 5. Select Saved data and then select Delete All. 
   Step 6. Select Delete all once again to confirm. 
   
   Once you’ve done that, launch the game again to see if the problem still occurs or if it still crashes at some point. If it still does, then move on to the next solution. 

6. Sixth solution: Reinstall the game.

   
   After doing all that and Hello Neighbor 2 continues to crash, what you need to do next is to remove the game from your console and then reinstall it. Doing so will remove all possible corrupt installation files from the console and make sure you’re using the updated version of the game. Here’s how you uninstall the game: 
   
   Step 1. Press the Xbox button on your controller, and select My games & apps. 
   Step 2. On the next menu, select See all. 
   Step 3. Highlight Hello Neighbor 2 and press the More options button. 
   Step 4. Select Uninstall and then select Uninstall All to confirm. 
   
   Once the game is uninstalled, reinstall Hello Neighbor 2 again.
