Chinese EV Company XPENG Launches World’s Most AI-Feature-Rich Electric Car, Kunpeng Super Electric System

XPENG recently hosted its AI Day, unveiling several innovative technologies that promise to transform the future of mobility. The event showcased the Kunpeng Super Electric System, the Turing AI Intelligent Driving System, and the XPENG P7+, which is recognized as the world’s first AI-defined vehicle. Chairman He Xiaopeng emphasized the company’s commitment to leveraging technology to redefine transportation.

The Kunpeng Super Electric System is a significant advancement in electric vehicle charging technology. This system features an 800V ultra-charging platform that can add up to 1 kilometer of range per second and can reach 80% charge in just 12 minutes.

It includes a revolutionary 5C AI supercharging battery and an AI battery management chip that extends battery life by 30%, enhancing safety and durability.

Another major highlight was the introduction of the Turing AI Intelligent Driving System, which aims for Level 4 (L4) autonomous driving. Powered by XPENG’s proprietary Turing AI chip, this system supports models with up to 30 billion parameters and features advanced safety capabilities.

The accompanying Canghai platform enhances camera image processing speed by 12 times and provides a robust foundation for full-scale autonomous driving.

XPENG also unveiled its humanoid robot named Iron, which is designed to assist in various tasks, including vehicle assembly. This robot utilizes the Turing AI chip, allowing it to perform complex tasks autonomously while mimicking human movements. Additionally, XPENG presented its modular flying car, AEROHT, which is set for a test flight this month.

With these advancements, XPENG is poised to lead the way in transforming transportation and mobility on a global scale. The company’s focus on integrating artificial intelligence into vehicles and robotics highlights its vision for a future where technology enhances everyday life.
