Fugetek Tripod
Fugetek probably has one of the best mobile tripods on the market today. This is an all-in-one accessory, providing you with tripod and selfie stick functionalities. You can easily switch between the two, all based on what your needs are in the moment. It’s extendable up to 51-inches on the selfie stick side, but has some neat tripod features, too.
You can easily extend the feet on the tripod for your tripod-mode. It has non-skid ends, and even zoom keys for better film and photo capture.
UBeesize Tripod
Next up, we have the tripod from UBeesize. This is a great option for aspiring photo and video takers. It has adjustable Octopus-style legs with no-slip grips that help to capture clean shots from any angle. You can capture some great shots on the move as well, but a stabilizing gimbal with an electric motor might be better if trying to do action shots.
Using Bluetooth, it comes with a remote for remote capture and play/pause.
Manfrotto MTPIXI-B PIXI
This mini tripod by Manfrotto offers the added convenience of portability, which in my opinion, should be a prerequisite among mobile tripods. The manufacturer is also offering a Zaykir phone adapter along with this tripod, allowing you to swivel the tripod up to 360 degrees. The tripod can reach a maximum height of 5.3-inches, which isn’t much, but sufficient for a mini tripod.
It can support weights of up to 2.2lbs, which means it can hold practically any modern smartphone available in the market. The feet are made of rubber, making it less prone to slipping on even surfaces. The rubber also provides additional grip to take still photos.
There’s a button on top which can be tapped to adjust the head of the tripod. Customer reviews are incredibly favorable for this particular tripod, which makes us positive about the device’s performance. If you have a phone camera with optical image stabilization, this specific product by Manfrotto will come to good use.
MoKo Cell Phone Stand
This is a pocket beauty as it weighs only 0.06 lbs, making it easy to carry around with you. While you can’t use this for professional photographs, you can surely use it for video calls and conference calls. Given the way it’s designed, this case can support both landscape and portrait modes on your device.
What’s even better is that it can even accommodate tablets with its tiny exterior. The product page mentions that it can hold tablets of up to 11-inches in display size, which includes some of the largest tablets available in the market now.
The case is made using rubber, making it durable and firm on flat surfaces. One caveat with this stand is that it won’t fit devices that have a case or cover on. So if you’ve got a protective covering for your phone or tablet, it’s probably wise to use it without the case.
Portability is critical here, and the folding mechanism ensures that the stand can be turned into a flat case, allowing you to carry it with you in your travels easily. There are a total of six adjustable slots here, giving you that extra freedom to stretch or tilt your phone/tablet in ways that you couldn’t normally.
Eocean 40-Inch Selfie Stick Tripod
This particular object is a combination of both a selfie stick and a tripod, offering the best of both worlds. You can either use it for professional photographs, or casual selfies with your buddies.
Since it’s a selfie stick as well, there’s a wireless remote built into the stand, offering you the ability to take as many pictures as you want without touching your phone. The phone holder part can be adjusted to fit your preferences, and it can also be tilted 360 degrees, offering a full view of your surroundings (excellent for panorama mode photos).
This is slightly bigger than conventional selfie sticks, however. It measures 7.9-inches while folded up and 39.8-inches while stretched out. This isn’t a massive concern, though, as this is also supposed to function as a professional tripod. I personally feel that the selfie stick aspect kind of impacts the tripod features of this accessory, but for a 2-in-1 device, this is definitely worth your money.
The accessory is made of anti-slip materials and aluminum alloy, offering durability and increased chances of capturing good still photos. Portability, as we mentioned above, is probably going to be a problem given its size.
Lamicall VC-S-US-B Cell Phone Stand
This is an excellently designed case for your Android smartphone. Unfortunately, that’s all it is, as it cannot serve any other function. However, if you’re looking for a small-sized smartphone stand for your table, this should definitely be high up your list. The Lamicall cell phone stand comes with a bit of a gap underneath the charging port, which means you won’t have to position your cable or phone a certain way to let it charge.
In fact, I feel this is an excellent stand for charging your phone as it has a designated pathway for the cable to pass through. It can only hold phones, however, so no tablets can be used with this stand, not comfortably anyway.
Acuvar 50-inch Inch Aluminum Camera Tripod
This one’s for the professionals, as it comes with a massive tripod as well as a phone mount, making it suitable to be taken along with your adventures. It also has a designated level indicator (bubble), allowing you to ascertain if the surface you’re placing it on is flat. The top of the tripod accommodates the smartphone mount. A comfortable fit and positioning ensures that your phone always remains safe and doesn’t fall off the mount.
The design is crucial here as the tripod doesn’t weigh much, even though it can be stretched up to 50-inches. But with that being said, it’s not extremely portable either, so it probably won’t fit in a regular backpack. This tripod stand can be used to take time-lapses of beautiful landscapes around you, making for a fantastic experience and a lot of memories.
Verdict
As you can see, there’s a lot of excellent tripods that you can use for smartphones. If you’re ready to up your photography and video game, any one of these are excellent choices to get you started.
