There are a lot of smartwatches out on the market, but many of them are decidedly masculine looking, not necessarily ideal for a woman to wear. They’re supposed to be more gender neutral as a whole, but they do end up looking more on the masculine side. So what about women? Are there smartwatches out on the market for them based on the Android Wear OS platform? The answer is resoundingly “yes!” In fact, it may cost you just a little more, but many of the “big” names in Android smartwatches today have bands that can be swapped out to make the watches appear more feminine.

Samsung Galaxy Watch
Coming as number one on our countdown, we have the Samsung Galaxy Watch. This is an excellent smartwatch overall, but it doesn’t run off of Google’s Wear OS. You can connect it up to Android devices without a problem, but the Galaxy Watch is most ideal for those that have Samsung phones. The Galaxy Watch can easily keep track of beats per minute as well as any irregularities with the built-in heart rate monitor. You’ll be able to easily track your steps taken, calories burned, distance traveled, and so much more, all with the native Samsung Health app. Not only that, but there’s a variety of fitness apps that you can download right onto the Galaxy Watch for added functionality. There’s actually a lot of different apps that you can download. Bands can, of course, be swapped out on this one.

TicWatch Pro
Coming up as number two on our list, we have a watch that has really rose in the smartwatch ranks over the year — the TicWatch Pro. Bands can be swapped out with this watch. Unlike many of the original TicWatch devices, the Pro actually comes with a built-in heart rate monitor. Running Google’s Wear OS, you’ll still be able to connect this up to an iPhone without a hitch; however, running Wear OS, you’ll get the best performance out of this on an Android device. The TicWatch Pro has a variety of health features built right into the software, so you can easily track things like steps taken, calories burned, heart rate, and so on. There are a large variety of apps that can be downloaded straight from the Play Store as well.

Fossil Explorist HR
The Fossil Explorist HR comes up next on our list, and is another great watch that you can swap bands out on. It’s also an excellent way to keep track of your heart rate with the built-in heart rate monitor, making it ideal for fitness applications. You can easily record your jogs or runs without too much trouble. Not only that, but the Fossil Explorist HR is swimproof — so, in theory, if you wanted to do laps around the pool, you wouldn’t have to take your watch off. It’s also one of the smartwatches that have the longest lasting battery — it’s supposed to last a whole 24 hours off a single charge.

Fitbit Versa
In fourth position on our countdown, we have the Fitbit Versa. This one is a little different than the other smartwatches on this list in that it runs Fitbit’s own software. It’s a fitness-geared smartwatch, so it has tons of features, functions, and apps all based around fitness; however, it has some standard Android smartwatch functions as well, such as calling and texting capabilities. On top of that, bands can be swapped out for other Versa bands, whether you want something more feminine or masculine.

Huawei Watch 2
The Huawei Watch 2 comes in at fifth place on our countdown, but it’s still an excellent Android smart watch for women. It comes with a black band right off the bat; however, you can swap bands out on the Huawei Watch 2 for something else. It does have to be a band designed specifically for the watch, but you can swap them out nonetheless. There’s built-in GPS, a heart rate monitor, and since it runs on Wear OS, there are tons of apps that you can download from the Google Play Store.
