Motorola’s latest mid-range device is here — the Moto G7. Being a mid-range handset, it’s just not going to have the best speakers inside the device. Audio is generally one of the areas that is neglected when it comes to cheaper, more budget-friendly devices.
That’s why you need a pair of wireless headphones to go with the Moto G7. Sound in the stock speakers are going to be quiet and sound canny. So if you really want to make sure that you’re using only the best sound quality with your phone, you’ll definitely want to pick up one of these wireless headphones:
Coming up first on our countdown, we’re looking at the Jaybird X4 headphones. These bring you slightly improved sound quality over the Jaybird X3’s. It’s a major upgrade over the Moto G7 speakers, that’s for certain. And battery life is really good, giving you about eight hours off of a charge.
The highlight of the Jaybird X4’s is that it comes with an app you can download to your Moto G7 to control the EQ. Individual levels can actually be adjusted and customized yourself, allowing you to really tune these to your most ideal, optimal levels.
The Beats PowerBeats3’s are designed to be a little more snug, making it more optimal for intensive activities like a hard, long jog or an intense training session at the gym. They secure around your ears, and have a wire that hangs around the back.
Overall, they’re comfortable, and sound excellent, letting you hear every detail in the music or podcasts that you listen to. They’re comfortable with interchangeable foam tips, allowing you to get just the right fitment.
Just one charge charge can actually get you north of 12 hours of straight music playback. And, if you run out of juice, but want to keep listening, the PowerBeats3 can gain another hour of battery life after just 15 minutes on the charger.
You can’t go wrong with the Apple AirPods for the Moto G7. The AirPods work excellent for iOS, but for also Android phones like the Moto G7. There’s no noise cancellation inside, but these still sound excellent overall.
Where the AirPods really excel comes right down to battery life. There are five hours in the AirPods themselves, but another 24 hours inside the charging case. And the charging case can juice these up quick, giving you a three hour charge after just 15 minutes in the case.
Of course, these have a built-in microphone that make it easy to take calls on the go as well. The microphone keeps things crystal clear for whoever is on the other line.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds are an excellent choice for those looking for an alternative to the Apple AirPods. These are a little more lower profile than the Apple AirPods, but still fit comfortably and snugly in the ear.
They’re great for a variety of applications — at a coffee shop, at the gym, or even outdoors on a run or jog.
Battery life does leave us wanting more with these. You are only getting six hours in the earbuds, and another seven in the case. That’s compared to the AirPods’ five hours in the earbuds, and 24 hours in the charging case. That said, the Galaxy Buds could definitely use an improvement here.
Either way, sound quality is excellent, and there is a built-in microphone for taking phone calls on the go.
The Apple AirPods and Galaxy Buds are great pairs of wireless headphones, but with how small they are, they aren’t able to pack the most stunning sound quality inside. That said, if you want better clarity, the Solo3’s are the way to go. They’r larger, and can fit much bigger sound drivers inside.
The best pair of full-size headphones for the consumer market, these are able to make music sound beautiful. Battery life is actually one of the most impressive elements, with well over twenty hours of playback available on a single charge. When the battery dies, you can actually switch over to wired without a hitch.
There are an endless amount of great wireless headphones on the market today. And at all different price ranges, too. That can make choosing one extremely difficult, with so many choices on the market. That’s why we’ve put together five of the best headphones that money can buy above.
Still having trouble deciding? We really like the Apple AirPods and Galaxy Buds in particular, because they both are compact and easy to walk around with. They’re low profile, so it isn’t a problem taking them in public.
