So what is the best virtual reality headset for Android phone? Follow along below, and we’ll you some of our favorites. Let’s dive right in.
Daydream View
Coming in as the number one choice on our countdown, we have the Daydream View. The Daydream View is only available for specific smartphones. Made by Google, a manufacturer has to work with the search giant to make their phones compatible with Daydream View — and that’s why you see so little support, at least beyond the phones Google offers and some exceptions for some other big name phones. The Daydream View still works like much of the older virtual reality headsets. Set the smartphone inside of the VR headset and you’re ready to roll with the Daydream experience.
The Daydream View is probably one of the best solutions as far as virtual reality. goes. Google has really outdone themselves with this platform, giving users, endless 360-degree movies and TV shows from popular services like Hulu and Netflix to be watched. The Daydream View has plenty of games, too.

Lenovo Mirage Solo
The Lenovo Mirage Solo comes in as second on our list, and is actually a Daydream powered headset. That said, you’ll find all of the great content in the Mirage Solo that you would in the Daydream View. However, the Mirage Solo does it just a little better, as it’s one of the few all-in-one VR headsets that are out on the market right now. That means that all of the necessary hardware is built into the headset, so you don’t actually have to set your phone inside. This does make the Mirage Solo a little on the pricier side of things, but makes it worth it due to the efficiency. Just download the Mirage Solo app to your smartphone, pair it up with the headset, and you’re ready to roll in virtual reality.
The one “con” to this is that the battery doesn’t last as long as we would like it, too. You’ll get about three hours of straight VR content out of this one before needing to charge again.

Oculus GO
The Oculus GO comes up as next on our list. Oculus has been around for awhile, making all sorts of virtual reality products; however, the Oculus GO is their first all-in-one mobile headset. Download the Oculus GO app to your V40 ThinQ, put the headset on, turn the power on, and you’re ready to roll! The nice thing about this VR setup is that it has a remote, so you can easily navigate menus without using annoying head tracking features.
The Oculus GO Is a really comfortable headset, so you shouldn’t have trouble using this one for hours on end. Keep in mind that, since it is an all-in-one headset, you will have to keep it charged up to use.

VeeR Oasis
Let’s face it, virtual reality is ridiculously expensive. Some of these headsets can cost $100, or in that range. And then, your independent, all-in-one headsets can cost you well into the $300 range or more. That’s why some might prefer what the VeeR Oasis has to offer. It’s a standard VR headset, so you set your smartphone in the VR compartment, and it does all of the hardware work for you. The VeeR Oasis has really good weight distribution, feels comfortable on the head, and it comes with a remote for easy navigation. The best part? it’s only a couple of bucks.

VR Elegiant
Coming up as last on our list, we’re looking at the VR Elegiant. The VR Elegiant might be last up on our list, but this is another really good virtual reality headset for those that don’t want to spend too much cash on a virtual reality system for their smartphone. The nice thing about the Elegiant is just how versatile it is — you can set any smartphone on any platform in here, and you’ll be able to play virtual reality content without a hitch. Elegiant actually has over 300 apps to download and use, so there’s plenty of content to keep you busy.
