Verizon promises Sense 5 update for the HTC Droid DNA

Verizon Droid DNA

Verizon has promised that the HTC Droid DNA will be getting the Sense 5.0 UI from the recent breed of HTC devices. The carrier is reportedly working on the Android 4.3 update for the smartphone beginning from this month, so there’s every possibility that it could be rolled out along with that. Alternatively, Verizon could also just plainly roll out the UI update later next week, instead of waiting for Android 4.3 to make its way to the Droid DNA.

The Droid DNA was one of the first smartphones in 2012 to launch with a Full HD 1080p display, but its reach was sadly limited to Verizon Wireless. Globally, the smartphone is known as the HTC Butterfly. This variant of the smartphone has already received the Sense 5 update a couple of months ago, which tells a lot about Verizon and its strict update policies. Sense 5 brings the much acclaimed Blinkfeed feature and an all new camera UI as well. Let’s hope the update begins rolling out soon for the Droid DNA.
