Update My Xbox Live app for iOS lets you control Xbox 360

Back in December last year, Microsoft released an iPhone app, My Xbox Live, which let users to send messages to friends, check out their profiles online, and do a lot more on the iOS devcies. Now, the Redmond software giant has released an update to the app which lets you connect the iOS device to your Xbox 360 and even control it. So basically, your iPhone or your iPad will be able to act as your Xbox 360 controller. Also, the update is designed to make use of the Retina display found on the iPhone and the iPad, which is always a good improvement.

Xbox 360 is already one of the most popular and best selling gaming console today. And if Microsoft keeps adding features like this, the gaming console will definitely lead the pack with more awesome games and features. If you are connecting your iPad with your Xbox 360 with this new update, you will not want to use the Xbox 360 controller anymore. This is because the app is so good with high resolution images and the Retina display, making it more fun to use that it already is.

Microsoft may release another update very shortly which would practically make the iDevices controllers for the Xbox 360, eliminating the need to use the controller at all. To download the update, just go the Updates section of the App Store and download the update.
