Virgin Mobile to launch HTC One V in two weeks

The¬†[easyazon-link asin=”B007NYHYFA” locale=”us”]HTC One V[/easyazon-link] has been around for some time now, but the budget class smart phone had not yet reached the United States shores yet. The rumors, however, say that the smart phone is coming on Virgin Mobile in just two weeks from now. The wireless carrier, one among the three regional carriers to launch the smart phone will have it for a very less price, according to the rumor.

For those of you who do not know what the HTC One V will bring to the tablet, it is a budge smart phone with a 1 GHz single core processor, 512 MB of RAM, a 5 mega pixel rear camera with flash which is capable of 720p HD video recording, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC’s Sense 4 user interface overlay, a 3.7 inch WVGA touch screen, Beats Audio, 4 GB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot to expand that memory if not enough. All this for just $200, that too unlocked without any type of contract.

If you ask me, this is one of the best affordable smart phone right now in available in the market. The HTC One V that you see in the image above is supposed to be the Virgin HTC One V. Virgin Mobile is supposed to be bringing this smart phone in in just two weeks. The HTC One series of smart phones are known for their good Beats Audio integration. You might have seen HTC sales reps installing stalls in popular shopping malls and restaurants demoing the One series of smart phones for some time now.

The one thing that HTC is doing immensely with this series is marketing. The company has decided to get its market share back from Samsung, and is working hard on that. I do not think that there will be any pre orders for this smart phone. So be ready to go to your nearest Virgin Mobile store to grab a unit of this.
