TCL Hero N3 Official Photo Released, Has 6-inch 1080p Display, 1.5 GHz Quad-Core CPU

TCL may not be a popular brand in the international market however this electronics company is popular in China with products ranging from consumer electronics to mobile devices. The company also owns the Alcatel brand which it uses when releasing Android devices  in the international market.

TCL Mobile has just recently unveiled its flagship smartphone called the TCL Hero N3 which runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on their website. This new model is also called by many as the successor to the Alcatel One Touch Idol X, a device which was announced last February.

One of the most noticeable features of the TCL Hero N3 is that it has an ultra-thin bezel. Its chassis is so narrow that the screen occupies as much as 83.4 percent of the front compared to only 77 percent for the Samsung Galaxy S4.

The 6-inch display of the device is capable of a full HD 1080p resolution. Powering this model is a MediaTek MT6589T 1.5 GHz quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM. It comes with microSD support which is able to provide up to 32 GB of extra storage space. The device also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera that’s perfect for recording videos or capturing photos. There is also a 5-megapixel front camera for taking selfies as well as making video calls.

Other notable features of this model are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MicroUSB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, and a 3,400 mAh battery.

The TCL Hero N3 is able to support GSM and WCDMA networks however it will not be able to support 4G LTE.

As far as pricing and availability goes there is still no information available.

TCL uses the TCL brand on their smartphone models they release in China while they use the Alcatel brand when releasing models to the international market. Most Alcatel smartphones have even been released in China with TCL branding. Since the Hero N3 carries the TCL brand then there’s a big possibility that it will first be released in China then renamed later on to an Alcatel brand when it hits the international market.
