Apple Watch Series 1

Apple has released upgraded versions of its Apple Watch over the years, with the latest one being the Watch Series 3. There’s been very minimal improvements, meaning that Watch Series 1 still functions as an excellent Bluetooth smartwatch still, and for a whole lot cheaper since there are newer versions out.

The great thing about the Apple Watch is that, much like the Huawei Watch 2, it looks professional, but you still get Apple’s suite of fitness features–heart monitoring, tracking different types of exercises, tracking your pace, calories burned, etc.

On top of all that, you get an expansive suite of apps to use as well–Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Uber, Evernote, TripAdvisor and so much more. While the Apple Watch only works with iPhone (for the time being), since newer versions of the Apple Watch has come out, this has become a whole lot cheaper to get your hands on. At $250 or less, you can get yourself into a high quality Apple Watch in 8mm, 38mm or 42mm straps. Check it for yourself at the link below.

The ZenWatch comes with the same set of hardware that we see on other Android Wear offerings. Two new Android Wear smartwatches to launch by Q1 2017: Google

Android Wear

#Google has announced that there will be two new #AndroidWear 2.0 smartwatches launching within the first three months of 2017. The information was provided by Jeff Chang, who is the product manager of Android Wear at Google.

The company clarified that these wearables won’t carry Pixel branding on board as it will be produced by third-party manufacturers who have already been involved with Android Wear in the past. Google refused to divulge details on the manufacturers, though, but it’s safe to assume that LG will be one of them.

Manufacturers were revealed to be a bit hesitant a couple of months ago with regards to the prospects of Android Wear, but things seem to have changed since then. It is said that other manufacturers will reveal Android Wear 2.0 based smartwatches over the course of 2017, so we have that to look forward to as well. Android Wear 2.0 will bring support for Android Pay, which could be a game changer.

After the new hardware is unveiled, Google will start sending out the update to existing smartwatches. While the list hasn’t been confirmed yet, it seems like only the recent crop of wearables will be included.

Google says that its goal is to convince the market and customers that Android Wear or smartwatches are still in demand, which could be a driving force to take the sales forward.

[Deal] T-Mobile Gear S2 Classic for $129.99

Gear S2 Classic

The T-Mobile branded #Samsung #GearS2 is now selling through eBay for only $129.99. The fall in price could be due to the presence of the Gear S3, which was launched not too long ago. But we’re not going to complain as this is still a pretty solid wearable to own. The Gear S2 Classic is pretty much the same as the standard version, with the only difference being the premium materials used in its making.

The Gear S2 comes with a rotating bezel ring, which is perhaps one of its key features as it’s supposed to help with UI navigation. Further, since it’s compatible with T-Mobile’s networks, the smartwatch can also handle 4G LTE networks on its own. This means you will no longer need your smartphone to be paired in order for the wearable to work. Taking all these factors into account, the Gear S2 seems like a steal at this price point.

[Deal] T-Mobile Samsung Gear S2 for $109.99

Samsung Gear S2

Samsung Gear S2

The T-Mobile branded #Samsung #GearS2 can now be purchased via eBay for just $109.99. Don’t confuse this for a run of the mill smartwatch, though, as it has plenty of tricks up its sleeve. The Gear S2 comes with a unique rotating bezel, which lets you navigate through the UI. This hasn’t been tried by any manufacturer before.

The Gear S2 offered here comes with support for T-Mobile’s networks. This basically means that you can operate the smartwatch even without a paired smartphone. All things considered, the Gear S2 offered here is a steal for the price quoted by the eBay seller.

Given how expensive smartwatches can be, this deal surely does come across as attractive. This could also make a very good gifting item for the holiday season, especially if you have a tech savvy person in the family. Check out the listing from the link below.

[Deal] 45mm Moto 360 Sport for $111.95

Moto 360 Sport

The #Moto360Sport is now available for just $111.95 on eBay. The seller only has the White version of the smartwatch in stock, which means you don’t have much say in terms of colors. But that shouldn’t be much of a problem since the White model is the most attractive variant (for me anyway).

The smartwatch runs Android Wear by default and comes with support for all major updates that are sent out by Google. So how is this different from the standard Moto 360? Well, it comes with a bunch of fitness related features that make it ideal for runners and athletes. There’s built in GPS, a heart-rate sensor and a whole lot more with the Moto 360 Sport.

It can easily replace the best of your fitness bands that are selling in the market. Keeping this in mind, be sure to check out the wearable from the eBay link below.

[Deal] Pebble Steel Deluxe Gold Edition for $109.99

Pebble Time Steel Gold

Pebble Time Steel Gold

The Limited Edition Deluxe Gold version of #PebbleSteel is now available for just $109.99 via eBay. The Pebble Steel is an OS agnostic wearable, letting users of both Android and iOS use the smartwatch without much worry. This makes it one of the most sought after wearables in the market, without much surprise. Considering all the factors, the Pebble Steel Gold Edition is a steal with a price tag of $109.99.

The Pebble Steel Deluxe Gold Edition comes with a square display, and all the attributes that you would find on the standard Pebble Steel models. But since the look and appearance is one of the biggest changes here, customers are more likely to focus on this particular aspect. If you haven’t begun your Black Friday shopping just yet, this is the perfect way to begin.

[Deal] T-Mobile Gear S2 Classic for $149.99

Samsung Gear S2 Classic

Samsung Gear S2 Classic

The #Samsung #GearS2Classic is now available on eBay for just $149.99. The smartwatch comes with support for LTE and is locked to work with T-Mobile. So you won’t have much luck if you are paired with another network. The Gear S2 comes with a fairly attractive design and a circular watch face, which gives it the look of a conventional old-school watch.

The smartwatch also features attractive software features that will enhance user experience to a great extent. For example, the rotating bezel ring on the device helps you navigate through the user interface seamlessly and without much trouble. This is just one of the many things that the smartwatch brings to the table.

The addition of 4G LTE ensures that you can use the Gear S2 without depending on the paired smartphone. Hit the link below for more details on the wearable.

[Deal] T-Mobile Samsung Gear S for $129.99

Gear S

The #Samsung #GearS is now available from eBay for just $129.99. The smartwatch is locked to work with T-Mobile, so the deal will only appeal to a select set of customers. Given that it uses cellular networks, the Gear S can function independently without requiring its primary smartphone.

This is pretty attractive and can give users the liberty to use their smartwatch whenever they want. The Gear S is based on Tizen, which might not be as vast as Android Wear, but still has the backing of Samsung. This means that there will be no dearth of apps or games for the wearables. We have only recently seen the arrival of the Gear S3, so the Gear S is about two years old in the industry.

But even then, a smartwatch with a curved OLED display is surely worth your while, especially when it’s priced at $129.99. Make sure you check out the deal over at eBay.

[Deal] 1st gen Moto 360 for $99.99

Moto 360

The first-gen #Moto360 is now available for just $99.99 on eBay. This wearable has been selling with impressive discounts for quite some time now, but this is perhaps the best deal we’ve encountered in a while. The retailer is offering the smartwatch in a Light Metal (18mm) variant as well as a Stone Leather model, so there aren’t a lot of variants to pick from.

Even though this is the first-gen model of the smartwatch, you get to experience all the new features of Android Wear thanks to Google’s comprehensive support system. Barring a couple of legacy Android Wear smartwatches, the Moto 360 is still supported by Google, which means you get the latest Android Wear updates directly on the wearable.

Stocks might be fairly limited for this offering, so we suggest you get your hands on it while you still can. Hit the link below for more details on the smartwatch.

Google’s Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches expected to launch by early 2017

Android Wear

While early rumors had predicted that #Google would reveal the new refresh of #AndroidWear along with the new #Pixel phones, we didn’t quite get to see that. Well, it seems like we have some more waiting to do with a rumor claiming that these new smartwatches will be unveiled by early 2017.

According to @evleaks, Google is planning to release two wearables codenamed Angelfish and Swordfish. These smartwatches will be equipped with the Google Assistant smart voice assistant, thus bringing uniformity across multiple Google products.

These are early rumors, of course, so nothing can be said with certainty at this point. However, considering what we’ve seen from Google so far, nothing would be surprising anymore. Frankly, Android Wear has been waiting for a refresh for quite some time now, so Google could really help its cause with the new Android Wear 2.0 platform. What do you think?

Huawei supposedly working on a new Tizen smartwatch

Huawei Watch

The #HuaweiWatch has set the bar very high in the smartwatch market. With its premium design and circular display, the manufacturer showed the world what a relatively new player in the scene can do. A new rumor is now claiming that Huawei might be looking to bring its talents to the Tizen platform as well. Huawei is one of Tizen’s early partners, along with Samsung, so this move makes complete sense.

While Android Wear is OS agnostic to a great extent, it is hoped that the new Huawei smartwatch will have the same set of compatible devices, thus vying directly with the Apple Watch. Huawei recently mentioned that it won’t release any Android Wear devices this year, stating that the components required for a modern smartwatch have not been perfected yet. It is also being said that Huawei is not particularly satisfied with Google’s Android Wear platform, which doesn’t allow much room for OEM customization.

This new Tizen smartwatch will apparently be developed in accordance with Samsung, who have been responsible for some of the best smartwatches we’ve seen so far (Gear S3 and S3). The future certainly looks interesting for smartwatch fans, don’t you think.

Pokémon GO will soon reach your Android Wear devices

Pokemon GO

Pokemon GO

When Niantic announced an Apple Watch version of #PokémonGO and mentioned that it would be arriving on the platform first, many of us were taken by surprise. But it seems like the game will also make its way to Android Wear smartwatches soon enough, although the timeframe is not clear at the moment.

Some decent data mining done by a fan site has uncovered that the Android Wear version of the game is almost ready while it would apparently be compatible with a variety of Android Wear devices. However, we don’t think legacy smartwatches will be compatible due to hardware limitations.

But all things considered, this is excellent news for lovers of Pokémon GO on Android who were a little disappointed with the Apple Watch announcement. An interesting point to note here is that the game will apparently function independently even if it isn’t running on the phone. This will help you save battery on your phone and let you catch some Pokémon with just your wearable.
