Today, AT&T announced that they will be launching new Pre-paid Plans to their GoPhone brand starting on June 21. The Pre-paid service allows users to purchase their phones without a contract, as well as send texts with no fees in the United States, Canada, and 100+ other countries.
The new plans will be considerably cheaper than what is currently offered right now. The new plans will consist of a $60 plan that offers unlimited calling and texting with 2GB of data, a $40 plan that offers 500 minutes and unlimited texting with 200MB of data, as well as a $25 plan that offers 250 minutes of calling and unlimited texting. Before, you would have to pay $65 for unlimited calling and texting with only 1GB of data.
In addition to the new plans, AT&T will also offer a new Pre-paid device on June 21, the Samsung Galaxy Express. Some specs for the device are a 1.5-Ghz Dual-core processor, a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED screen, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP Back-facing camera, and 8GB of internal storage with microSD slot capabilities.
