S9 Screen Turns Black When Using Instagram
Problem: Hello! I have a problem with my S9 phone! when I enter instagram and I try to check the messages the whole screen turns black except the superior symbols such as the battery, time, connection, etc. I can not open the emails, not even the google chrome. start the phone in safe mode and the problem persists. My aunt has the same phone (they were bought together) and has the same problem but with more apps. Hopefully can help me.
Solution: The first thing that you should do in this case is to try to clear the cache and data of the Instagram app from the application manager then check if the issue still occurs. If it does then try uninstalling the Instagram app then install a fresh version from the Google play Store.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should consider performing a factory reset on your phone. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
S9 Games Keep Crashing
Problem: I am having a trouble on using an online game applications. The applications only runs for 3-5 minutes then it will be automatically closed, sometimes the application will hang up and the speaker plays a sound like a radio and then it turns into a black screen before sending an information containing a ” Unfortunately (name of the app) has stopped “. I already tried to clear cache the app, clear cache on the storage, Factory reset but the issue still occur. And when I try to software update my device it will just send a message that will always says ” Software update interrupted you may check again in: 24 hours “.
Solution: The first thing you will need to do is to check if the problem is caused by connectivity issues since you mentioned that this occurs when you play online games. Try connecting your phone to a different Wi-Fi network then check if the gaming apps stop working.
In case the issue still occurs then I suggest that you update your phone software as there seems to be an update available. Try to use Smart Switch to update your phone if the OTA method does not work.
S9 Facebook Comments Fail To Load
Problem: I looked through your listed troubleshooting for this issue and did not find anything, hope I did not miss anything, so here goes. Facebook will often not allow me to read comments inside a top level post. Sometimes it is just real slow, most often it just will not open the comments. I have done soft resets, uninstalled, disabled, enable, update. Reboot, check for updates etc. This has been going on for many months, through various Facebook and Android updates, with no difference. The only thing that seems to help is force stopping the app, and clearing the storage, but it’s only a temporary fix, soon after it starts again. I can read posts on my timeline fine, but cant read any comments under them. It just sits trying to load the comments page. As well often when I make a reply it was it will appear when I’m online…. I’m always online?! Data or Wi-Fi use does not seem to make a difference. It’s SO frustrating, hope you can help. Carrier is BELL in Canada Thank you so much for your time.
Solution: Whenever a Facebook comment fails to load this is usually caused by a slow internet connection. To check if this is the case make sure that you have a strong LTE signal or that your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network that has a strong signal.
In case the issue still persists then I would recommend that you do a factory reset as this is the only troubleshooting step that you have not yet performed. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.
