Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Camera Photos Are Blurred Issue & Other Related Problems

This is actually one of the three flagship models that Samsung has released in this year the other two being the S6 and the S6 Edge Plus. Some of the outstanding features of this phone include its 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display, octa core processor combined with 3GB of RAM for smooth operations, and 16MP rear camera with OIS just to name a few. Although this is a solid phone there are instances when certain issues can occur which we will be addressing today. S6 Edge Camera Photos Are Blurred

Problem: My back camera of my Samsung S6 edge is blurred, i restore the device  delete all cache and data and is not working yet. Perhaps is a hardware problem, also it sounds like there is a piece out of place inside the device.

Solution: If you have already performed a factory reset and also cleared the cache and data of the phone then this could already be a hardware related issue. There are however some additional troubleshooting steps that you can perform which we have listed below.

  • Clean the rear camera lens using a soft cloth. Make sure to remove any dirt or grime present in the lens.
  • If your phone has a case installed then try removing it as this might be causing the problem.

In case the issue persists and you hear some sound inside the phone then this could already be a hardware issue in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S6 Edge Not Getting Official Software Update

Problem: I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Model GM-925V. About a year back I rooted my phone, and just recently did a full unroot because I want to be able to get the update to Marshmallow 6.0. The issue I’m having is that on startup it still shows a custom unlocked padlock logo, and when I try to do the update, it fails every time. Any ideas?

Solution: If your phone is still running on its stock software and this issue occurs then it’s very likely that the Knox counter of the phone has been tripped. It’s difficult to reset this countre but you can try to do a Google search for an effective way to reset this counter. I would however suggest that you just flash the updated stock firmware update of your phone. You can get this update file from the Sammobile website which is also where you can get the instructions on how to flash your phone data.

S6 Edge Flickering Screen

Problem: I have just bought a Samsung galaxy s6 edge and I have been experiencing problems with a flickering screen while viewing images. This has happened ever since I opened the phone. When scrolling through images (Google images,instagram …) the bottom and sometimes half the screen flickers bright white much brighter than the screen can normally go. This only happens when the brightness is near full and does not always happen. I also have problems with the brightness of my phone changing while I use it

Solution: The first thing that you should do in this case is to check if the problem is caused by some software glitch by following the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Start the phone in Safe Mode. When the phone operates in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode. Restart the phone then check if the issue still occurs.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try checking first if the issue still occurs.

In case the issue still occurs after performing the steps listed above then you will need to bring the phone to a service center as this could already be a hardware related issue possibly caused by a faulty display assembly.

S6 Edge Screen Is Black

Problem: My Galaxy s6 edge is working and I can’t see the screen. HELP!! No water damage and it has been like this for the past 14 hrs.I can here E-mail notifications , the back button light appears but my screen is black.

Solution: The best way to address this issue is to start the phone in recovery mode. If the screen work in this mode then it’s likely that the problem is caused by a software glitch. You will need to perform a factory reset in this mode. Take note that this will erase your phone data.

If the screen is still black even in recovery mode then the problem could be caused by a faulty display assembly. You will need to have this checked at a service center if this is the case.

S6 Edge Split Screen

Problem: I have an split screen problem with my s6 edge when i just unlocked my mobile it works its own again and again it shows split screen view and did not handle even when i put it down and do nothing but still they shows split screen issue and works its own it’s any system could not worked . What should i do to solve the split screen issue? It disturbed me a lot .

Solution: This mode has a split screen feature which can be used to view two apps at once on the screen. Unfortunately there is no way to disable this feature. You can however try to install third party apps available at the Google Play Store such as the MultiWindow Toggle for Samsung.

You can also try to check if this issue is caused by a software glitch by following the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Check if the issue occurs in Safe Mode. If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

S6 Edge Takes Too Long to Make A Call

Problem: If i make a call then want to make another call straight after it my phone takes ages to connect. I can’t do quick redial if I’m trying to get someone it can take up to about 2 mins sometimes before it will connect to new call

Solution: It’s very likely that this issue is caused some software glitch which can be fixed by following the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode. Once this is done check if the issue still occurs.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete try to check if the issue still occurs.

S6 Edge Shuts Down When Taking Pictures

Problem: Trust you are doing very well! My Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus got a problem of shutting down completely while i was taking the pictures and the battery was charged fully! When i tried to charge the phone i could not recharge and open. what is the problem and what can i do? Thanks

Solution: What you will want to do first in this case is to make sure that the battery of the phone has sufficient charge by performing the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in this port.
  • Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger.
  • If the phone does not charge then you should try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port.
  • Turn on the phone by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.

If the phone still does not turn on then you will need to have this checked at a service center.
