S6 Edge Plus Not Charging When Turned On
Problem: From some days I am facing some weird problem with my galaxy s6 edge plus. My phone is giving problem in charging its not charging when its on. But as soon as i switch off phone and keep on charging its charging. Again I switch on phone its charging normally for few minutes then some black screen is coming and disappearing after that it stops charging.
Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this particular case is to check if the charger is causing this problem. To do this follow the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in the port is removed as this could cause charging problems.
- Try using a different charging cord and wall charger when charging the phone. Does the issue still occur?
- Check if the phone charges when you charge the phone from a computer USB port. If the phone charges this way then the problem could be caused by a faulty charging port pin. Have this checked at a service center.
- Try charging your phone wirelessly. If the phone charges this way then your phone might have a damaged charging port. Have this checked at a service center.
If the above steps don’t fix the problem then it could be caused by a damaged battery or charging IC. If this is the case then I recommend that you bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.

This is done by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons until the phone restarts. If this does not fix the problem try charging the phone again for at least 20 minutes. It’s best if you clean the charging port of the phone first using a can of compressed air. You should also try using a different charging cord and wall charger to charge your phone.
