S6 Edge Plus Mobile Internet Keeps Dropping
Problem: I bought samsung galaxy s6 edge plus but has a problem connecting to the internet. Every time i connect the network keeps dropping cant even access applications. When i use another service provider its working but the one i like its failing. I contacted the service provider and was given apn setting all haven’t worked, deleted caches and master reset still nothing. I will really appreciate if the solution can be found
Solution: If you have already performed a factory reset and also tried checking that the issue does not occur when another service provider is used then there’s a possibility that the problem is caused by the network coverage in your area. Try going to a different location then check if the issue still occurs.
S6 Edge Plus Screen Is Flickering
Problem: My Samsung galaxy s6 edge plus just started flickering for no reason. I’ve had this phone for 2 years and have never had a problem. It’s almost as if the brightness goes back and forth. That’s the only problem I have with it. It works perfectly fine except the flickering. It has never been dropped in water but I did drop it in the floor yesterday. Thanks for your help
Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this particular case is to check if the problem occurs when the phone is started in Safe Mode. If it doesn’t then it’s possible that the problem is caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
If the issue still occurs even in Safe Mode then I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try to check first if the issue still occurs. If it does then it’s very likely that this is already a hardware related problem in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Edge Plus Turned Off While Listening To Music
Problem: I have a Samsung galaxy s6 edge plus, been using it for almost four months now but today while listening to music the phone went off suddenly and it is not as if it fall down or something. I didn’t even allow anything water close I carry it like egg.. Please help out because I have done all I can but to no avail.
Solution: The phone battery might be out of charge. What you should do in this case is to clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris stuck in this port is removed. Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger. If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port. Turn on the phone after charging by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.
In case the issue persists then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Edge Plus Invalid Key Error After Nougat Update
Problem: I have a galaxy s6 edge plus. Since the most recent update I keep getting messages that say invalid key ? It goes away before I can screenshot it. And it will come on without me doing anything. Just sitting here. Not sure about the Android version, I got 7.0 out of the settings
Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this particular case is to make sure that all of the apps in your phone are updated. To do this open the Google Play Store then go to the My Apps section. From here you will see a list of the apps that need updating. Update them accordingly.
In case all of the phone apps are updated and the issue persists then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the application manager.
- Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
S6 Edge Plus Not Charging Or Turning On
Problem: My memory on it Samsung s6 edge + had been to full clear cache thing a few times. NP. I listen to music at work all night. I downloaded Spotify cause coworker said it’s better than Pandora. Checking it out . So listening to music one night this hard vibrating noise in my ears like wtf.. is that ?? So I pull my headphones out of my ears and continue to work for 10 more min till I can try to assess this noise..then my phone was completely dead.. I bring a charger to work (Just in case) not cool won’t show the charging icon it did say 87%. Ok well I know troubleshooting techniques it won’t power on or charge. Grrr. I get home from work still won’t work or charge pressing and holding all keys volumes right. WTF. Text Verizon from tablet. They say I need new phone. I said FU. Still paying on this 1 so about 8pm that night magicly it shows icon charge after attempting troubleshoot techniques. OMG it’s alive. Happens again 2 days later. What could it be. It’s only happening at work no wifi, I have plenty of data. It seems fine at home.
Solution: What you will want to do in this case is to clean the charging port of your phone using a can of compressed air making sure that any dirt or debris stuck in it gets removed. Once this is done charge your phone for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger. In case the phone does not show the charging symbol then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port. To turn on the phone you should press and hold the power button and volume down button for at least 10 seconds.
In case the issue persists then this could already be a hardware related problem possibly caused by a faulty battery. If this is the case then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Edge Plus Can’t Forward Emails
Problem: I read my work outlook emails using the email app. I have been doing this for 2 years now but yesterday, I experienced something different. I can receive the emails, read the emails but when I reply or forward the email, it tries to load the messages and it takes a long time and doesn’t allow me to send it. I tried to cancel the loading and enter the recipient and click on send but it will not send and has a message of loading message. I tried all the steps I saw in the internet and already asked our company IT guy and he deleted and recreated my account in my phone. That worked one time only where I was able to forward one email but the succeeding ones went back to the loading messages error. Any idea why?
Solution: The first thing that you should do in this case is to clear the cache and data of the email app. You will need to input your email settings again after doing this. If the issue still remains then try checking if the same issue occurs when the phone is connected to a different Wi-Fi network.
In case the issue persists then you should consider doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.
