[Deal] 64GB OnePlus 2 for $249.99

OnePlus 2

OnePlus 2 Official

The 64GB variant of the #OnePlus2 is now available from eBay for just $249.99. With OnePlus recently launching the #OnePlus3T, one would imagine that the demand for older flagships would die down a touch. Even if that’s the case, finding excellent deals on slightly older phones is always welcome news for deal hunters online.

The OnePlus 2 is equipped with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of non-expandable storage, the octa-core Snapdragon 810 SoC, Android 5.1 Lollipop (upgradable to Marshmallow), and a 3,300 mAh battery. The phone is also packing a USB Type-C port and a fingerprint scanner on board, so it’s on par with most modern day flagships.

While the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T might have replaced this 2015 flagship, there’s no denying that it’s still a pretty good deal for $250. Make sure you check out the handset from the link below.

An eBay retailer is now offering the unlocked model of the OnePlus 2 for just $239.99 on eBay. The smartphone comes with a fairly attractive hardware specs sheet under the hood, which makes for a very exciting combination, especially given the price. One of the most attractive flagships of 2015, the #OnePlus2 is now available on eBay for just $239.99. The smartphone comes with a high-end hardware underneath, even though it is over a year old in the mobile industry. This is thanks to the octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset used by the manufacturer, which was quite controversial during its early days, but has since been patched.

Remember the OnePlus 2? Well, we remember it one of the most ambitious phones from last year which didn’t manage to hit the right spot thanks to the infamous invite-only purchase system. If you missed out on getting the phone back then, a new deal is offering the 64GB model of the OnePlus flagship for just $239.99.

This variant comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, the octa-core Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of non-expandable storage, Android 5.1 Lollipop (upgradable to Marshmallow), and a 3,300 mAh battery. The handset also packs a USB Type-C port and comes with a fingerprint scanner on the front.

We can comfortably say that this is one of the best devices you can get at this price range. It features a flagship level hardware for under just $250, which is as good as it gets really. Make sure you check out the phone from the listing below.

Remember the #OnePlus2? Yes, the same device that was only available through invites for a large duration of 2015. Well, it seems like the demand for the device is dipping down a touch. This was always on the cards as there’s a newer variant available in the (online) shelves. But if you’re bargain hunting for a reasonable flagship product, you can snatch up the OnePlus 2 via eBay for just $239.99.

The handset comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage (non-expandable), a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 5-megapixel front camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop (upgradable to Marshmallow), and a 3,300 mAh battery. The handset was one of the first modern-day offerings to feature a USB Type-C port, which has become a standard today.

It must be noted that the handset might run out of stock soon, so we suggest you proceed with haste if you’re interested.

You can head over to the eBay page below for more details.

[Deal] Brand new OnePlus 2 for $269.99

OnePlus 2

You can now grab the #OnePlus2 for an attractive price of $269.99. The handset is usually priced at $299.99, so this is a pretty decent discount in my book. Given that the OnePlus 3 is the flagship of choice now, understandably, the OnePlus 2 has taken a backseat on our minds. However, that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a pretty good device to own, even by 2016 standards.

amazon

For $270, you’re getting a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, the octa-core Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and a 3,300 mAh battery.

As you can see, the hardware is pretty much on par with modern day flagships, which makes this a pretty attractive buy. The deal is currently available on Amazon, although there’s no telling if it’s just a temporary price reduction or if OnePlus is slashing the pricing for good. For more details, be sure to hit the Amazon listing page.

OnePlus 2 now getting the Android 6.0.1 update

OnePlus 2 Marshmallow

OnePlus 2 Marshmallow

The #OnePlus2 has seen multiple beta updates of #Marshmallow so far. The company has now announced that the final version is rolling out to the masses starting today in the form of OxygenOS 3.0.2. This means that those who weren’t included in the beta process should also see the update now. The exact timeframe might differ depending on your region, so don’t lose patience if you’re not seeing the update right away.

But since the company has already made the announcement, it’s safe to assume that the update is being sent out on a wider scale as we speak. As the OnePlus 2 is making the jump from Android 5.1 Lollipop, the changelog is quite big. You can check it out in its entirety below:

Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow upgrade
Enhanced Doze mode for better battery life
System wide performance improvements
Improved fingerprint sensor performance and recognition
New OnePlus Camera UI and AF optimization
MaxxAudio and Tuner have been removed. We have integrated with Dirac HD Sound technology for the speaker so you get a great experience without the knobs and dials
Shelf UX has been improved. You can now long press to edit a board
You can now lock apps in recents so they won’t be cleared away. We’ve also added clear process in addition to clear-all for those of you who want a better control of backgroud processes
Network operator selection will now stick to your choice so you don’t accidentally roam onto uninteded networks
SwiftKey update to 6.3.3

OnePlus slashes pricing of the OnePlus 2 and the OnePlus X

OnePlus X

OnePlus X

Well, Christmas has come early for fans of the #OnePlus2 and the #OnePlusX as the company has decided to slash $50 on both the handsets, giving users a lot of extra money to spend on other items such as accessories, cases etc. This means that the OnePlus 2 now starts from $299 and the OnePlus X is as cheap as $199.

Well, if you bought either of the two smartphones over the past couple of weeks, you will be relieved to know that OnePlus will be offering a credit of the discount amount so that you don’t feel left out from this promotion.

To get your discount, you will have to contact OnePlus customer support in the U.S. We’re assuming this is a U.S. only promo for the time being, so don’t be surprised if the OnePlus representatives in your region don’t sound all that excited about this. In any case, it’s extremely good of OnePlus to offer such a promo to the customers and we’re hoping more will follow as we look forward to the release of the OnePlus 3.

OnePlus 3 to come with Oppo’s fast charging technology

OnePlus 2 Official

According to a new report, the #OnePlus3 will come with a fast charging battery. This technology was first spotted on an #Oppo device and will supposedly make its way to the new OnePlus flagship as well. The technology we’re talking about here is Super VOOC Flash Charge, which allows the device to get fully charged in 15 minutes.

Given that Oppo and OnePlus are known to have a familiar relationship, this doesn’t particularly surprise us. However, it will be interesting to see if this actually ends up on the OnePlus 3 or if it simply remains yet another rumor. The handset has already made it through Chinese certification listings with this particular feature on board, so this could pretty much act as confirmation at this point.

However, we’re going to take this with a grain of salt until OnePlus makes things official. The handset has already made its way to the benchmarks and is expected to be revealed by July or August this year.
